Since the HERO8 Black is already waterproof down to 33 feet on its own, it does not come with an extra housing. If you plan to take the HERO8 Black deeper than 33 feet, there is a separate protective housing that will allow you to take the HERO8 Black down to 196 feet.

Is it compatible with Mac at OS El Capitan Version 10.11.6?

GoPro cameras don't require a particular operating system to function unless you want to use GoPro apps and software to help with photo/vide storage or editing. For desktops, our software is Quik for Desktop. It requires Mac OS 10.10.X or later.

Is there an attachment or holder I could purchase that would allow me to mount my iPhone XS onto the GoPro tripod? I own both the GoPro Hero and the tripod. Thank you in advance!

GoPro doesn't make an iPhone mount that connects directly to our system, but there are some adapters that convert the GoPro mounting system to a male tripod connector. Search for "Tripod Thread Mount Adapter" here on Best Buy and you should see one. With that, you can use standard phone/tripod mounts with our system.

Is there a hookup for a smart tv?

Yes, you can connect a microHDMI to HDMI cable to your HERO7 Black and then connect that cable to HDMI televisions. Also, you may be able to access content on your television directly from the SD memory card the content is saved to by using an SD card adapter, if you television has that USB port and can read SD card content.

Can you use an external mic with this camera?

Yes, but you'll need to use a mic adapter made by GoPro. For the HERO8 Black, you can use the GoPro Pro Mic Adapter or the new Media Mod to connect an external mic.

And if I get the group pro app I will be able to use this for live stream? And also how good does music transfer sound wise to YouTube live stream?
