Does it matter if the box says "Made for iPhone/ ipad" and I have an android?

The integration with smartphones is done through the GoPro app. The GoPro app is free and is available for many Android devices. If you'd like, you can download the GoPro app now and see if it's compatible with your specific smartphone.

which gopro comes with the waterproof case? are there any that are waterproof that dont require the water proof case ?

Each GoPro HERO model from the GoPro Session and the HERO5 to the present can be used underwater without an additional waterproof housing. For the HERO7 Silver, that camera is rated to go as deep as 33 feet without a housing.
