I want to buy the Hero7Silver:Going on a shark cage dive soon.We'll be at sea 3-4hours.We'll see sharks, then have "down time", with no sightings.Can we record, then pause until we see the next shark, then restart recording?If so, how?Thank you!

Yes, you can start and stop recording using the shutter button on top of the camera once the GoPro is powered on. Another option is to leave the GoPro powered off and then press the shutter button. That will activate the Quik Capture mode, which will power on the GoPro and start it recording automatically. Then, when you're done recording, press the shutter button again and the recording will stop and the GoPro will power off.
