The shutter button on top of the GoPro will start or stop recordings.

Does the hero 7 silver automatically record in 4k or is there an option to record in full HD? We are going on a 7 day cruise and dont want to have to buy 7 sd cards.

The HERO7 Silver can shoot in 4K, 1440, or 1080.
