Will the accessories for my GoPro 4 silver fit the GoPro 7?

Yes, since our cameras use our standard mounting system, most of the mounts and accessories that you used with previous models will also work with the HERO7 Black. The ones that won't work will be batteries and anything that encloses that GoPro (like a housing) since the camera dimensions are different between the HERO4 and the HERO7.

Is this waterproof? I want to take pictures in the water

The Smart Remote is waterproof, so you can definitely wear it while swimming. One thing to consider though is that the connection between the remote and the GoPro is done by a wifi signal. Wifi does not travel well through water, so triggering a photo while the GoPro and/or the Smart Remote are underwater most likely would not work once you get too far under the surface.

The HERO7 White is waterproof down to 33 feet. It's designed to be used underwater, so you should not have any issues with using it while you're swimming.

Will it work on a surfboard ? Thanks

The adhesive mounts will work on most surfboards, but we make a special surfboard mount that may be a better option for you. The surfboard mount includes a second adhesive anchor that you can leash the GoPro to as an added precaution. If you decide to use the adhesive mounts though, be sure to use a Floaty or something like that to help keep your GoPro floating in case the mount comes loose or breaks.

Can the cam be mounted to clothing without using the harness?

Check out the QuickClip. With it you can clip the GoPro onto the bill of a hat. It may also work on shirt collars, but it won't be as steady.

If you're interested in mounting a GoPro to the bill of a hat, check out the Head Strap and QuickClip mount. The QuickClip slides on over the bill and can hold your GoPro there. For playback, the photos and video are recorded to an SD card. You can then watch the videos on nearly all of our newer GoPro cameras, or you can pair the GoPro to most smartphones using the GoPro app and view the shots on your phone.
