Is camera compatible with 360 photo booth
My understanding is that 360 photo booths use normal cameras that rotate around the person. The MAX can be used as a normal single-direction camera, so it may be compatible with a 360 photo booth, but a MAX can also shoot 360 photos and videos on its own without any other special gear.

For both taking pictures and video recording, is this suitable for beginners? Does it sufficiently pick up audio when recording or are additional mics advised?
Yes, the HERO10 Black is very easy for beginners to use. It does have some advanced settings if you want to customize your setup, but for everyday shooting, the HERO10 Black is easy to use with the basic settings. The HERO10 Black has its own mics, which should be great for most uses. If you find that you want to connect specialized mics, you can do that too with the use of the GoPro Media Mod.

Can Go Pro zoom in for sporting event?
The HERO10 Black does have a zoom function. It is a digital zoom and not an optical zoom, so it functions as reframing the image as opposed to using lenses.
