Does the hero 8 protective case fit the hero 11?

No, the HERO8 is a slightly different size than the HERO11, so the housing for one won't work with the other. There is a protective housing designed for the HERO11 though.

Rephrasing previous question: Is there software for a Mac computer for this camera? All video editing etc will be done on a new Mac computer -not on a phone or through an app-.

Got it. Thanks for the follow-up. GoPro does not currently offer a desktop editor for the HERO models. However, GoPro videos are captured as standard MP4 files, so you can use them with almost every major editing program. On a Mac, an app like iMovie is a great option to use with your GoPro content.

The HERO8 Black comes with an adhesive mount and the standard GoPro mounting buckle.
