i'm using a dish remote that works the samsung un32j525d tv. will that remote work the sound bar if connected to tv optically?

Hi skipper! The HW-S40T is compatible with a wide range of remotes from various manufactures. To allow these remotes to control the HW-S40T, first turn Off the Soundbar. Next, push up and hold the WOOFER button on the remote for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “Samsung-TV Remote” (Default mode), “Off-TV Remote”, “All-TV Remote”. Leave the soundbar in the "All-TV Remote" setting for compatibility with the most remote soltuions. I have this speaker connected via optical with my LG tv. The Soundbar remote can do everything, except raise or lower the volume.

I could not find anything in the instructions on how to connect the sound bar to Alexa. Do I program it to my router? If yes how?

Hi Cflat! Using Alexa, you can play music, listen to news, see weather forecasts, and control home appliances. To use Amazon Alexa, an Amazon account is required to connect the Soundbar over the network. First, install the SmartThings app on your mobile device and then launch it. Next, enter the Alexa account by following the instructions on the app and then log in the service. Once connected to Alexa through the Smart Things app, you can call Alexa or press the "Multi Function" button on the Soundbar for 3 seconds to use the Alexa service. Just got this for Xmas. Set it up without the bluetooth setup (TV doesn't have). Used the optical cable. The volume of the tv can only be adjusted manually on the soundbar. How can I get the remote to adjust the volume?

Bought this brand new, got it home and connected. Once I start playing a show or music there is a constant humming/droning noise coming from the subwoofer that completely makes viewing not enjoyable. Since unplugged the subwoofer only using soundbar.

Hi! I got this sound bar for my parents for Christmas and having a heck of a time getting it to work. They have a Samsung Model UN55FH6003F. I am trying the HDMI , but it keeps coming up saying TV SPK and no sound is coming. Please help! Thanks!

Does the Samsung soundbar t650 support eARC? I have a Sony X900H TV which has an updated for eARC, was hoping to use this soundbar for it.

When I try to adjust the treble or bass or audio sync with the sound bar remote... it only allows me to adjust the bass... the treble and audio sync are unable to be adjusted? What am I doing wrong?
