Samsung - 50" Class (49-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV
Samsung - 50" Class (49-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV
Samsung UN50HU8550FXZA LED 4K Ultra HD TV: Step up to a new world of picture resolution with this Samsung Ultra HD TV. Display 4K content at 4x the resolution of Full HD, plus upscale all of your current TV shows and movies in amazing detail. You can also download the newest software and features, so you'll never get left behind as new 4K TV standards and smart technologies arrive.

Upscale thru bluray player to 4K or let Samsung upscale to 4K or both?

Have an OPPO 103 player that upscales to 4K,would I get true 4K content,ie:bluray movies and cable
shows by using the Samsung upscaler or the OPPO upscaler or both? Would using both at the same time be redundant?
This will ultimately depend which device has the better upscaler. We don't know which parts other devices might use, so we can't determine with certainty which will work better.

Although, any signal sent to the television will be upconverted to 4K. If it's already 4K, it will bypass the television's upconvert process and be displayed on the screen.

If your Blu-Ray player upscales, try it in 4K mode. Then send the signal from the Blu-Ray player as a 1080p signal and see if the television upscales it better.

Does that help?

Samsung - 32" Class (31-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 720p - HDTV
Samsung - 32" Class (31-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 720p - HDTV
Samsung UN32EH4003FXZA LED HDTV: Enjoy your favorite movies with a crisp, clear picture on this Samsung LED HDTV's 720p display. Wide Color Enhancer Plus delivers rich, vibrant hues, while ConnectShare Movie technology makes it easy to play back photos, music and videos from compatible USB devices.

Is TV model # 32EH4003FXZA epeat certified?

I am buying a new TV and would like to know if this one is environmentally "green"- does it meet the new EPEAT standards? Also, if I read the other posts correctly it DOES have a remote and sleep timer, but NO headphone jack? I would like the first 2 features definitely, but the headphone jack is not a deal-breaker. Thanks for your help- keep recycling!
recycling gal,

We're not sure about EPEAT, but we are measured by the government with Energy Star, and our products can be found on their website for comparing energy use when on, or when in standby.

Yes, a remote and sleep timer (3 different on/off time options) are included, but no headphone jack is available on this model.

can i stream movies from my laptop directly to the tv without any extra devices

It would depend on how you want to do this, which OS you have, and if your movie files are supported.

Using AllShare or similar software, accessing movies on your network and streaming over your existing network may be possible. A Best Buy salesperson may be able to show you models that support streaming, and give you a tour of the new Smart TV interface that allows streaming.

Samsung - 60" Class (60" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV
Samsung UN60HU8550FXZA LED 4K Ultra HD TV: The future of television has arrived with this expansive Samsung 4K Ultra HD screen. Display 4K content at 4x the resolution of Full HD, plus upscale all of your current TV shows and movies in amazing detail. You can also download the newest software and features, so you'll never get left behind as new 4K TV standards and smart technologies arrive.

what side are the connections on

are they on the right, lrft or middle
If you were looking at the television panel like you would watch it normally, the inputs would be behind where the right speaker would be on a traditional television.

So facing the back of the TV, it would be "stage left".

Samsung - 65" Class (64-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - 3D - HDTV
Samsung - 65" Class (64-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - 3D - HDTV
Samsung UN65H7150AFXZA LED HDTV: Become immersed in your favorite movies and TV shows with this Samsung HDTV's expansive 1080p LED display that provides crisp, clear images. The Smart Hub allows you to easily stream movies and music, download apps and surf the Web.

Which model to purchase?

Both items are on sale and priced the same. Should I buy this model:
Samsung - 60" Class (60" Diag.) - LED - 4K Ultra HD TV (2160p) - Smart - 3D - HDTV
or
Samsung - 65" Class (64-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - 240Hz - Smart - 3D - HDTV

The first offers the UHD 4k and related features. The second is bigger and a beautiful model; however I am leaning towards advanced technology. Although 4K is not commonly used, it may become more prevalent

Any views or personal experience would be appreciated.

Thank you.
You don't need 4K content to enjoy the 4K picture (although, it does help when content is available, and content is planned).

All of your current technology resolutions will be supported. So Blu-Ray, DVDs, cable/sat boxes and other peripherals will upgrade the picture signal and resolution to 4K. So you don't lose anything, really, or "walk away" from a previous technology, since all your current equipment is likely compatible.

I'm not sure there's a definitive answer here, but if you have specific questions that we can help answer, let us know how we can help.

Wireless keyboard compatibility

Is the Samsung wireless keyboard Model: VG-KBD2000/ZA compatible with the H6350 32" Samsung TV?
Bluetooth keyboards (that connect directly to the TV) are not compatible with this model, but USB HID keyboards are supported.

We can't recommend any specific models, but several people have commented in the past that Microsoft keyboards have worked relatively easily.
