I have a 5.1 surround sound system already with an amp, subwoofer, center, & side speakers all wired, but I want the 2 rears to be wireless, because of the excessive wiring needed. Are any of your speakers capable of doing that?

Hi FSNSLG! The rear speaker kit is designed to connect to specific Samsung soundbars and cannot be used for other audio systems. The rear speakers will wire to a transmitter, and the transmitter with connect wireless to the soundbar. ^Tim

Can you listen to the sound bar independently of the TV , only in concert with the TV and how many HDMI cords do I need for the hook up?

Hi! When using the Soundbar for the audio on the TV, your internal TV speakers will be disabled and the sound will only come out of the Soundbar for optimal quality. If you would like to use both, you can utilize the digital optical audio connection instead of HDMI and enable Multi Output Audio through the TV menu. The soundbar will only require 1 HDMI connection to the TV through the HDMI ARC port. ^Tim
