The Samsung model Model: UN32EH4003FXZA:
I don't have cable or watch tv. I just use it for watching videos. Can I connect dvd and vhs player to this model?
Yes, most DVD and VHS players will have an AV input - yellow video, and red-and-white audio connections. You can connect the yellow AV to the "Video" port on the back of the television, directly under the HDMI 2 Port.
If your devices have a RGB (component) output, you could use that. Only one port exists, so it can be used as either a component or composite port.
If you really like your VHS player, you might connect using the yellow AV or RGB connection. If your DVD player is also AV or RGB, you will have run out of ports. You may want to upgrade your DVD player to a Blu-Ray player, which can use the available HDMI ports, and also play DVDs.
If your VHS and DVD player are a 2-in-1 system, then you should be able to use one connection to hook them both up.
Thanks for your interest in Samsung televisions.
