The only subwoofer that works with the Beam is the Sonos Sub. Fortunately, it a great Sub and will improve the fullness of the sound in your room regardless if you are watching a movie or listening to music!

Hey All: Can I use this Sonos-Amp to link together my TV, my 3 Echos, my free standing audio speakers and my Sonos 3 speaker all together to create one integrate home entertainment system?
The Sonos Amp will integrate with all of your other Sonos products in your home. Unfortunately, while Echo devices can control Sonos devices with voice, they are unable to play the same stream of content grouped with Sonos speakers. As far as your television it would need a Sonos product (Playbar, Playbase, Beam, or Amp) providing the sound in order to group with other Sonos zones.

Can Sonos amp connect to CD player and vinyl turntable?
It depends on the outputs on the device but yes, the Amp can connect to these devices and add them to your Sonos system while powering traditional speakers.

I do not have HDMI ARC on my TV, just standard (non-ARC) HDMI. Can I control soundbar audio with my TV remote if I connect both HDMI (non-ARC) and the optical cable?
The Beam has an infrared sensor on the front that allows it to learn your television remote during the set up process. This allows you to control the volume with your television remote whether you use an HDMI ARC port on your television or use a digital optical port (with the included adapter) to connect the Beam.

I already have two regular sonos Play 1 units paired together but not in stereo together. I am thinking of buying a Sonos one (Gen 2) voice control and pair it with the other two. Using the voice control will the others two units also play the same music?
You can use the Sonos One to control the other two Play:1 zones but currently controlling grouping is not supported through voice services. However, if you were to start music with your voice on any zone you can group speakers without opening the app. Simply go to the speaker you want to group and hold the play/pause button for 3 seconds, the speaker will group with whatever stream of music is currently playing. If you have multiple streams playing simply press and hold again to move to the next stream.

Can I hook up my non sonos speakers to this amp and use them as my rears along with my playbar and sub?
Yes you can! It is a great way to create a Sonos based surround sound system!

can this be use with bose 251 speakers
As long as these speakers are not powered and use standard speaker wire the Sonos Amp will definitely power these and make them sound as great as they possibly can sound!
