I have an ARC port on my TV, but not on my soundbar. All I have is a digital on my soundbar,. Will this work?
The adapter is technical designed to go the other way around. From a Tv without HDMI ARC to a Sonos soundbar with ARC. (Arc, Beam) However, it's not directional, so it may work for this as long as by "digital" you're referring to an optical port. We can't guarantee it though.

Thank you for your question. This is not needed for Sonos speakers. It's designed to turn your passive speakers (in wall, bookshelf, outdoor, ext) speakers into Sonos app compatible speakers. It will not work with any other brand of soundbar.

Since the arc only has hdmi out to the tv, how would I connect my directv box to the arc to watch tv?
All the components plug into the tv via HDMI ports and then one cable (HDMI from ARC or eARC) to the Sonos Arc.

Can you deactivate google assistant and amazon alexa on the sons arc sound bar?
You sure can. There's a mute switch on the player. If you never set up Goole or Amazon voice assistants then they are never activated.

Great question. You can have up to 32 Sonos product grouped together to play the same thing at the same time. Keep in mind the integrity of your wifi plays a role in this, but from our end; 32.

It can, but it has to be set up on wifi first to download the latest firmware. Then, it can be put in Bluetooth mode and go where you go.
