It would not. It goes the other way. The optical is for the back of the tv and hdmi female to run HDMI to Arc or Beam. So it does the other direction from the way you want to go. It's for tvs with optical only.

Absolutely. This can be grouped with the system you already have to play the same thing at the same time with your Sonos Amp.

How do you connect the speaker to your phone via bluetooth to use it? I can't figure out how to use it with my phone to control it and use it not for music.

Hello! Thanks for reaching out. Press the bluetooth button on the back of the speaker. The light on the top should turn blue. Hold down to put it in bluetooth pairing mode.

I only have wi-fi (no access to a router). Can set these up without access to a router?

All of our products can be set up on your wifi. No ethernet connection needed.

This power cable is not for Sub. You would need what's called Sonos Power cable 2.

I have two grouped Sonos Era 100 speakers. When I connect either one to my projector via Bluetooth, both speakers play audio. I wonder if I group a soundbar to the Era 100 speakers, will it work on my projector? (No cable connection on my projector).

It will play the same thing as the Era 100's assuming it's a Sonos sounbar. Note that because the soundbar is not directly plugged into the projector, you will not get the correct audio codec (IE dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital) in most cases.
