Featuring next-gen acoustics and new levels of connectivity, Era 100 transforms any room with the finely tuned stereo sound and rich bass your music deserves. Easily play all your audio content using WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3.5 mm line in. Enjoy hands-free control with your voice.

can the Sonos Era 100 speaker be goruped with the Sonos Gen 1 or 2 speakers?

Yes, the Sonos Era 100 speaker can be grouped with Sonos Gen 1 or Gen 2 speakers. Sonos devices are designed to work seamlessly together, regardless of their generation, as long as they are all connected to the same Sonos system via the Sonos app. This means you can group the Era 100 with your older Sonos speakers to play synchronized music across multiple rooms. Just ensure that all your devices are running the latest software version for the best experience.

Astonishingly lightweight, durable, and powerful, Roam 2 makes it easy to enjoy Sonos sound everywhere life takes you. Just pair, play, and go. Enjoy up to 10 hours of size-defying clarity and bass. Fully IP67 waterproof and dustproof, Roam 2 is ready for the outdoors. Plus, it doubles as a smart speaker at home.

I have a Roam 1. In order to use it I must first push the button on the back until the white light is solid. Is the Roam 2 similar to use the same way? Or will it connect online automatically as my Sonos One (gen2) do?

The Sonos Roam 2 has improved auto-connect functionality compared to the Roam 1. Like your Sonos One (Gen 2), the Roam 2 is designed to connect automatically to your Wi-Fi network once it's been set up. You shouldn't need to press the button on the back each time to connect it online. However, if you're using the Roam 2 in Bluetooth mode, you'll need to manually switch to Bluetooth by pressing the button. In Wi-Fi mode, it should connect automatically once powered on.

Transform your listening experience with this white Sonos Arc Premium smart soundbar. The 3-D sound technology and Dolby Atmos produce immersive audio delivery from all directions, while the Sonos App lets you stream music and podcasts wirelessly. This Sonos Arc Premium smart soundbar features 11 high-performance drivers and elliptical woofers for rich bass frequencies, and the low-profile design blends with walls discreetly.

Will this work on 220v if I have a plug adapter to fit the pins, or is it fixed at 110v?

The Sonos Arc is designed to work with a wide range of voltages, from 100V to 240V, so it will function properly on 220V. You can use a plug adapter to fit the pins, and the device should automatically adjust to the voltage without any issues. There's no need for a voltage converter, just ensure the plug adapter is compatible with your local socket type.

Sonos - Combo Adapter - Black
Sonos - Combo Adapter - Black
Split cable adapter allows you to hardwire Era 100 or Era 300 to your router and connect an external audio source via 3.5 mm. Auxiliary cable and ethernet cable not included.

Is this compatible with Sonos Move 2? Kirk

The Sonos Combo Adapter with Ethernet is not directly compatible with the Sonos Move 2. The Move 2 is designed as a portable speaker, primarily intended for wireless use, and does not have an Ethernet port for direct wired connections.

The Sonos Combo Adapter with Ethernet is generally used with Sonos devices that have a dedicated Ethernet port, such as the Sonos Era 100 or Era 300, to provide a stable wired connection to your network.

If you're looking to enhance connectivity for the Move 2, your best option is to ensure a strong Wi-Fi connection in the areas where you plan to use the speaker. Alternatively, you can use Bluetooth to stream music directly from your devices when Wi-Fi is not available.

Can I pair a Sonos Era 100 with a Sonos beam or arc device located in another room?

Yes, you can pair a Sonos Era 100 with a Sonos Beam or Arc, even if they are located in different rooms. The Sonos system is designed to allow seamless audio synchronization across multiple rooms. Here’s how you can do it:

Grouping the Devices: In the Sonos app, you can group the Era 100 with your Beam or Arc. Once grouped, the same audio will play simultaneously across both devices, no matter where they are located in your home.

Using Separate Rooms: If you prefer to keep them as separate zones (e.g., one for your living room and another for your bedroom), you can control them independently while still having the option to group them whenever you want the same audio in both spaces.

With next-level audio that hits from every direction, Era 300 doesn’t just surround you, it puts you inside your music. Connect to all your content and devices using WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3.5 mm line in. Immerse yourself in the ultimate Dolby Atmos experience when you pair two with Arc or Beam (Gen 2).

I want to build a system for my living room that connects both to my bluetooth enabled turntable as well as my TV. Either an ARC and (2) ERA 300 speakers or an ARC, (2) ERA100 for surround, and a sub. Which is better from both cost and quality?

For Best Quality: Go with the Sonos Arc with Two Era 300 Speakers. This setup provides the most advanced audio experience with superior surround sound and spatial effects. It's ideal if you're looking for the highest quality and immersive experience, especially for watching movies and high-resolution audio.

For Balanced Cost and Quality: Choose the Sonos Arc with Two Era 100 Speakers and a Sub. This setup provides a good balance between cost and audio quality. The Sub adds depth to the sound, and the Era 100 speakers offer solid surround sound performance at a lower price point compared to the Era 300.

Additional Notes:

Both setups will connect to your Bluetooth-enabled turntable via the Sonos Arc's line-in (if you have a Bluetooth receiver or adapter) and to your TV through HDMI ARC or eARC.
Ensure you have the Sonos app to manage and group your speakers for the best experience.
Choose based on your budget and desired audio quality. Both options will provide excellent sound, but the Era 300 setup offers a more premium experience.

Enhance your home audio with this Class D Sonos amplifier. Its 125W of power per channel lets you enjoy high-resolution sound from your bookshelf speakers, TV and other passive components, and Wi-Fi connectivity supports multiroom setups and wireless streaming via AirPlay and the Sonos app.

Hello So I have 3 rooms that i want to play the same music in. Will the Sonos 250w amp and 3 of the era 100 speakers do the trick ? Thankssomuch!! Bart

To play the same music across three rooms with Sonos speakers, you have a few options. Here’s how the Sonos 250W Amp and three Era 100 speakers fit into your setup:

Sonos Amp: The Sonos Amp is designed to power wired speakers, such as in-ceiling or bookshelf speakers, and can be used to connect traditional wired speakers to the Sonos system. It cannot directly power the Era 100 speakers, as they are wireless and not designed to be powered by an external amplifier.

Era 100 Speakers: The Era 100 speakers are wireless and will connect to your Sonos system via Wi-Fi. You can place them in different rooms and group them together in the Sonos app to play the same music across all rooms.

Recommended Setup
To achieve your goal of playing the same music in three rooms:

Direct Setup: Use three Era 100 speakers in the rooms where you want to play music. They connect wirelessly to your Sonos system and can be grouped together using the Sonos app.

Sonos Amp Usage: If you have existing wired speakers in those rooms or plan to install in-ceiling or bookshelf speakers, you can use the Sonos Amp to power those speakers. The Amp will connect to your Sonos system and you can group the rooms in the Sonos app to play the same music.

I hope this helps!
