Would this laptop be good for college work?
That will really depend on the software the student will be using for the course work required. We recommend you check with the school's web site for guidance on the type of computer configuration will be necessary for the curriculum your student will be following. This configuration is a good mid-range system. Good for Microsoft Office programs, research online. It is not made for graphics intensive work that would apply to Graphic Design Courses or CAD software for engineering.
