I recently purchased this ideapad 5 days back. Is it normal for the Ideapad to have a clicking noise whenever I click using the touchpad/mousepad? The click noise is very noticeable with every click and kinda annoying.

It's normal to hear a click with each full press of the touchpad. This is to signify that the touchpad has been completely engaged. If you prefer, you can make selections using the "taps" function of the touchpad, where you can select items on the screen by tapping the touchpad instead of fully pressing it.

This Chromebook Plus 2-in-1 does not feature an SSD, but rather UFS storage. While the drive in this system may perform somewhat slower than a traditional SSD, it still provides high speed data transfer, write/rewrite speeds while conserving more power.

Is it possible for the home user to remove the m.2 ssd drive and upgrade it ourselves? Is the SSD soldered or is it removeable?

Also, you could use if for video editing depending on the software you wish to use and what type of video files you're working with, i.e., 4K/120FPS. If you're using Adobe Premier via the creative cloud and the file types are too large or high in quality like above 1080/60FPS, this system could work well for you. If you need to use more intensive programs, professional editing tools, and work with larger, high-quality files, we recommend considering a system with more memory and potentially a dedicated graphics card to make video editing a breeze.
