There is no monitor, there will be a keyboard and mouse.

This is a high performance system, it will get warm and maybe so warm, it would be uncomfortable on bare legs. The cooling system (vents and fans) is configured to keep the system within optimal operating temperatures under any use, so long as the air vents are kept clear.
