Looking for a long term reliable system for home office, and large photo and music capacity. How does this Levano 8gb 1tb hold up? I am not clear on how the gb works outside the tb capacity for storage and performance

This system runs Windows 10 Home as its operating system, according to Microsoft, Windows 10 is the most stable operating system they have produced. If you keep you virus protection up to date there should be no problem there. Also this system uses an Intel Core I-7 processor. Intel is the #1 processor manufacturer in the world. The 8GB RAM is solid state, no moving parts, so it should last for at least 10 years. The 1TB hard drive should always be backed up on to an external archive drive.

Is it a quad core or dual?

It is a dual core, 4 thread Core i7-5500U processor.

This system has Bluetooth 4.0. Has a wired keyboard and mouse, but you can replace with a wireless keyboard and mouse if you have one.

Does the machine contain two four gigabyte chips or one eight gigabyte chip? The basic question I need answered is if I upgrade this machine to sixteen gigabytes will I have to put in two new eight gigabyte chips or one new eight gigabyte chip?
