i have bought a lenovo g70 from best buy, it is not charging, charger is connected but not charging

What is the charge level of the battery in the device. The battery will not charge if there is more than 80% charge in the battery. This is to protect the battery. If there is less than 80% charge in the battery and it still won't charge, follow the link below to Lenovo.com support-drivers and look for new driver updates for power management for your specific system. I have an Asus Q500A laptop with an i7-3632qm, 8Gigs, and a HDD, no graphics. I like the SSD, RAM, and little Nvidia card in the Lenovo, but should I look for something with more CPU, or would I be happy with the 6500U? This would be hooked to my TV.
