Based on user reviews, this can be the case, especially soon after device setup as updates install and background processes continue to initialize the system. If this continues over the next couple days, it's likely that the tasks being completed may be taxing on the system, casing the battery to drain. To help with this, first we recommend ensuring that your system is up to date to correct any inefficiencies. To do so, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.
Also, this system features performance controls to switch profiles that prioritize battery life, performance, and in-between. To do so, press Fn + Q to switch to a battery saving mode to help extend the time before charging again.
