We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. The slot in which the Wi-Fi card is placed shouldn't be impacted by internal heat production when gaming. This could be a resource issue, and in order to resolve it, first we recommend checking for updates via the Lenovo Vantage app on your T5. To do so, open Vantage > Either on the homepage or you may have to select the Gaming Settings tab, click Check for Updates, and ensure all available updates are applied.
