Hey, we're sorry to hear that you're having this issue with your Legion. Let's try to resolve this immediately. Here's some steps to follow to help resolve your issue: 1. First, ensure that the AC adapter or charger for this unit is plugged in and indicating it is charging the device by the LED next to the charging port being illuminated red (charging) or white/green (fully charged).
2. Once you have made sure the device is getting power through the charger, yet it will not turn on, power off the computer, as this system is equipped with The Novo Button – a feature used to help users with a few options, including resetting your PC.
3. There is a small pin hole on the bottom right side of the device, first in line before the other ports on the right side. You will need a pin (a sim ejector tool or end of a paperclip should suffice) to push this reset button.
4. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose to reset your computer. Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. Here is a link to the pdf of the user guide for your Legion with more details on the Novo Button, as well as alternatives to get to the menu if you cannot access the Novo Button: (https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/lenovo_legion_7i_16_9_ug_en.pdf) Should you need further assistance, please reach out to Lenovo Support here: 877-453-6686, so we can continue to assist you.
