Hi ETLake,
We are sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your IdeaPad 1i. We apologize for any inconvenience and frustration that may have stemmed from this.
We'd like to work with you to resolve this. To start, please follow these steps:
1. Perform a static discharge/power cycle. To do so, first remove all cables connected to the device (power adapter, HDMI, external mouse, external keyboard, etc.).
2. Be sure device is powered off, then. press and hold the power button down for 60 seconds. When done, re-attach all cables and insert the power adapter, letting the laptop charge for a couple minutes, then power up the machine as usual.
3. Try to update the network drivers for your system from this Lenovo Support webpage: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/1-series/ideapad-1-15iau7/82qd/82qd00hmus/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Networking%3A%20Wireless%20LAN&id=E3519D23-890E-4DE1-9064-DE6E7DA2515B
4. Follow the instructions to install the driver, then restart your laptop when updates are done.
Please let us know how things go for you.
Best,
Lenovo
