I have a Lenovo Idea Pad L340. It is very slow and takes forever to load. Will the new Lenovo be a big improvement?

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaPad L340 Laptop. To improve the performance of your IdeaPad L340, check to be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software can slow down system performance and cause slow boot up of your computer. Additionally, there is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. Here is a link to instructions for uninstalling McAfee from a Windows computer: https://service.mcafee.com/?articleId=TS101331&page=shell&shell=article-view You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. Regarding a new computer purchase, we always recommend you check the requirements and compatibility of any software/games you will be installing on your new computer, before you invest in any computer. We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Chromebook 3 11, model number 82BA001FUS. Be sure you are using the corrct USB-c port to charge this Chromebook 3 11. Only the USB-c port on the left side of the Chromebook 3 11 will charge the Chromebook. This Lenovo Chromebook 3 11 ships with its own 45W USB-C (3-pin wall side plug, USA compatible) AC adapter/charger, supports PD 3.0, 100-240V, 50-60Hz, included. Plug the charger into the USB-c port on the left side of the Chromebook then plug the charger into a wall socket. There is a LED light next to the USB-c charging port that will light up when the Chromebook is charging properly. Let the Chromebook charge for 15-minutes before trying to turn it on. After 15-minutes of charge time, press the power button and your Chromebook 3 11 will boot up normally. If your Chromebook still does not boot up, now reset your Chromebook back to original factory settings.
