Is the VTech CS6949 compatible with the VTech LS-6425-3?

George - You can connect the VTech CS6949 on the same line where the LS6425-3 is connected but the cordless handsets from one base will not communicate with the cordless handsets from the other base. Can I call this phone to receive my messages from a different location

Hi - Yes, you can remotely access the built-in answering system of the VTech CS6949. Here's the procedure to remotely access the answering system.

1. Dial your phone number on any touch tone phone.
2. Once the answering system answers, enter your unique remote access code.
3. Enter a remote command.
