Flip/Kodak Zi6 - next step up?
I have been looking at the Flips and the Kodak Zi6 - they are in my price range. However all the reviews talk about their lack of stablizers. Is there a camera just above their price range with a good stabilizer and with their video quality?
If you want to stick with a camcorder that uses flash memory to record you videos to you could look at the Panasonic model SDR-S7K. This camcorder has electronic image stabilization, a 10X optical zoom, and is on sale right now for $199.99 from $299.99. If you want to look at this camcorder you could look here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8732605&type=product&id=1201307507741.
There are actually a number of camcorders that are priced around the same price as these two camcorders, but have image stabilization as an added feature. If you want to look at an example that records to MiniDV you could look here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8671528&type=product&id=1197074520970, and if you want to see an example of a camcorder that records to DVD you could look here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8682801&type=product&id=1198286370252. I hope this helps!
