Blossoming effect?

I am now doing my 3rd load of laundry and with each wash I have watched the clothes hardly move. I am now washing a load of linens(2 q. sheets, 2 pillowcases,socks, and other small clothing items. I decided to use the bedding cycle to allow more water. I noticed a black hair on the sheet at the top and decided to watch it wash. That hair has not moved out of place and I see no evidence of the blossoming effect. The sheet remained at the top, never to be pulled to the bottom. Clothes at the bottom remained there never to be seen on top. How can that sheet possibly be cleaned if that hair remained in place during the entire wash cycle.? What if that had been a stain? I certainly don't want to wonder what's happening in the wash. I never had to before.This happened with a uniform patch that I focused on during the normal cycle. Never did that piece of clothing move from my sight. There is no cleaning action taking place in this washer, just barely soaking.

While not all of the motion that occurs in the washer is visible from the outside, if the clothes that are on top do not make their way to the bottom as the cycle progresses it may be necessary to recalibrate the washer. Instructions can be found on page 17 of the user manual.

How to clean waterproof mattress pads or covers

If you should not wash waterproof mattress pads or covers in this machine then what do you do with a weekly need to wash such items. Have an elderly family member that needs daily washing of waterproof bed pads. That bit of information was left out by salesman and did not find out until washer was delivered and I read it in the manual days later. What am I supposed to do?

Recently water is accumulating in the two drawers.

I have moved the slide to low humidity and moved the items in my frig away from the back to avoid air flow issues. If this isn't helpful, what is my recourse?

Does the SMH1816 use the same mounting bracket as the earlier SMH7185?

I'm buying a replacement for my SMH7185 and it'd be nice if the SMH1816 uses the same bracket in the same exact position on the wall.

Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, I don't have the templates available from the SMH7185 to determine if they're the same as the those for the SMH1816. If you do still have the SMH7185 templates, check the ID number that's printed on them (they should start with "DE68-"). The ID numbers for the SMH1816 are DE68-03142B for the rear wall template, and DE68-03843A for the top cabinet template. I've attached pictures of these for your reference, but please keep in mind that these pics are not sized appropriately to be used as actual templates.

Thanks for the question. The SMH1815 is not a valid model number, so I'm unable to tell you whether the SMH1816 will use the same mounting template as your earlier over the range microwave. How do I make it wash better?

I recently purchased one of these washing machines. My clothes frequently come out still dirty-- for example, with dirt, deodorant, powdered detergent or other marks still on them. What can I do to get them cleaner? I feel like they don't get wet or agitated enough. This is especially true of delicates, including work shirts and athletic clothes.

I'm sorry to hear your clothes are not coming clean enough with the WA400PJHDWR. It's important to use the correct amount of HE detergent, and select the appropriate water temperature and other settings for the type of items you're washing. Overloading the washer can hinder its ability to wash all items thoroughly. Make sure the hot and cold water lines are connected properly and the inlet hose screens are clear and unobstructed, and load the clothes loosely in the machine. Pre-treating certain items or soaking may also help to improve performance.

Samsung WA400 Lid Lock Issues

Can I adjust the lid lock on my washing mach? If I don't put a cloth between the lid and tub you can hear it trying to lock many time then it gets the lid lock error. Also, when running if you even touch the lid it gets the error as well. It appears to need adjustment or alignment. Thanks in advance for your help.
