Does this come with a remote?

I noticed a difference between the new & refurbished item pages - remote is not listed under "what's included" on the refurbished item page. Is this an oversight or does it really not include the remote?

i lost my remote what model is compatible?

What is the life expectancy on this model and how does it compare to LED models?

From the available information, the life expectancy of both Samsung Plasma TVs and Samsung LED TVs are about the same under optimal conditions (about 100,000 hours. Results may vary depending on settings and environmental considerations).

Can I navigate through my Netflix list with this player?

There's a Sony player which doesn't let you go thru your Netflix list through the player, you have to do it on your computer. I have Roku now and want to be able to scroll thru and add to my Netflix list from the player on my TV.

As a matter of fact, you should be able to access your own queue as well as search for other media based on genre, new to the system or even search with your own parameters (searching for a specific movie or show).

Can I connect my laptop to the player instead of buying a new wireless connection

Can I connect my wireless laptop to the player via ethernet cable and accress the internet through my laptops wireless connection?
Id like to avoid buying the sepatrate linkstick.

In order to connect your BD-C5500 to the internet, you must use either a Samsung Linkstick to connect to a wireless home network (router) or a ethernet cable to connect to a wired network (router). Unfortunately, a home network will be required. The network capable Samsung devices cannot connect directly to a PC, Laptop or other internet capable devices for internet or network connectivity.

Netflix Problems

I can't get netflix to work. All the other internet connections work fine (like youtube and pandora), so it's not my connection. I've tried numerous times with no luck - keeps saying getting titles, then try later. Also i never got a activation code when i first plugged in.
The netflix works fine on my wii!
Any suggestions?
