Dynex 40" Has 2 Different Versions

The 40" Dynex has two different models. Supposedly one is made by Panasonic and the other by Toshiba. Can anyone verify this and which is which? One has over 50 reviews while the other model on the Best Buy site has zero reviews.
Dynex TVs are designed by us and manufactured to our specifications; they are not re-branded. You can make a Spec-to-spec comparison of the two TVs by visiting this link: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...

Windows xp drivers

What video driver can I use? my windows xp pro keeps searching to install the driver. I have the LG forte manager to handle the resolution which works great, but I want to know if a driver is available.
No driver should be necessary for using this TV as a computer monitor and none is provided by Dynex. You may need to update your computer video card firmware/software for best results, however.

How do I turn off closed captions on my Dynex 37" Class / 720p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV-DX-37L130A11?

Options that have failed: CCD button on remote; Closed Captions from the Menu (closed captions are a "faded" option, and cannot be changed); Restore Default from the Menu. There is no closed caption feature on my cable box, so it has to be from the television.
I know that you tried it already, but restore your TV to factory default settings via the on screen Menu. Select Setup, then Restore Default, then Enter. Select Yes in the confirmation box, then Enter, then Exit. You shouldn't need to, but you may wish to power-cycle the TV afterward by turning it off and unplugging it for an hour. Also, you may wish to reset your remote control by removing the batteries, pressing all of its buttons, and installing new batteries. If the problem persists, I recommend contacting your cable provider to ensure that the cable box is not at fault. If the closed captions remain after all of these steps, your TV may require repairs. Service can be obtained by carrying your TV in to the place of purchase. Remember to bring along your receipt for warranty validation.
