Where are the Sony DSLRs? Will you carry the new Sony A55?

The a390 and a400 should be arriving in the near future...no word on the a55 or a33 yet.

Olympus Lenses - film to digital SLR

Will the lenses from my collection of Olympus film SLRs fit to the new digital SLRs?
Compatibility with older Olympus lenses is sometimes tricky. Some lenses will work with adapters on the E-Mount system with limitations.

Which tv is right for my needs?

We want a tv for our basement. The only way to get cable is via my PC's wireless internet connection as there is no way to drill for cable in the basement. We need the tv for playing DVDs, watch some tv, and movies on demand via my wireless internet connection. It is very confusing to figure out whether we need 1080 vs 720 or 60 vs 120. It is also very difficult to figure out what types of cables I would need if I wanted to connect to my PC. We know that we do not need anything bigger than 32 to 37 inches. We also know that we really do not want to spend more than $550. Is there a tv out that would fit our needs? I did want to mention that the DVD player that I was hoping to connect to the tv is about 10 years old. Does this matter? Would I have to get a new DVD player?
Well...I guess you could use the PC as a video source and use either a VGA out from the PC and use the TV as a second monitor..or use the HDMI out if the PC has one. There is a lot of content and many channels are streaming on the internet now. Netflix is of course available.
Most all LCD and Flat Panel TVs have a VGA input to connect to a PC.

Which lens is best

I have a Nikon D90 and I am wanting to buy a lens that will allow me to take close-ups of my kids while they are on the field playing sports and I am in the bleachers. I will be shooting in various light settings and want to be able to get action shots. Any suggestions?
Sports shooting gets easier with a longer lens such as a 70-300mm lens. Shoot in a ISO of 400 to 800 to freeze the action better.

I am searching for my first DSLR. Does anyone have recommendations for Nikon D90 vs Nikon 3100 vs Canon T2i and can compare then;

The D90 is usually so much more expensive than the 3100. Does that mean 3100 is not as good as the d90 or perhaps the d5000? Would appreciate everyone's help, I'm so confused.
The D3100 and the T2i are in the entry level category and the D90 comes in on the beginning prosumer level.
Here are a few of the D90 differences... the D90 is compatible with all AF Nikon/Nikkor lenses. The D3100 only with Nikon AF-G.
The LCD monitor is at a higher resolution (920,000pixel) on the D90.
The viewfinder is larger on the D90 and it is a Pentaprism vs Pentamirror (D3100) system.
The D90 is faster at 4.5fps vs the D3100 at only 3fps.

120hz or 60hz tv, what is the difference or which is better?

what does it really mean?
120hz has a higher refresh rate which is results in smoother playback of action such as sports and action films.

What type of camera should i get for my business?

I take pics of guests and then need a quick way to get them out of the camera. Currently we have to hook up the camera with a cord to the computer, then down load the pics, then rename them and unhook and delete the photos from the camera. Is there a faster way to do this??
If the camera uses a SD memory card you could use a EyeFi card to wireless connect a computer and some printers.

I have a Digital Converter Box, however I do not have the remote for it. Can I program a universal remote to control it?

Some Universal Remotes from RCA might. Look for listed supported devices on package.

It can use a MMC or SD Memory card but NOT a SDHC. Any brand should work well.

looking 4 vidieo cam to make wildlife films

A good camera for wildlife video work would be the HDR-FX1000. Pro range and Pro quality and will stand up to heavy use.
