What tv do I buy if I love old movies?

I bought the Samsung led 6500 and hate it. It makes me literally sick. I'm not a gamer. I watch movies. What's the best for me?
Before you scrap the TV...try this...look for two things.
First if it has a Game mode...turn it OFF.
Second if it can change refresh rates experiment with different settings. Different hrtz settings may do the trick.

New S4000, how do I open the battery area

I have a new S4000, I cannot open the battery/memory card area. Is there a hint...
Flip the camera upside down. Push the battery cover gently and slide toward the back of the camera (away from the lens...toward the screen). Then you can flip the cover open and get to the battery and memory slot.

What is the difference in quality between an LCD and a Plasma television?

The better picture was on Plasma TVs in the past but LCD have come a LONG way in recent years. Now the image is almost as good on either TV. There are some minor differences.
Plasma does take more power consumption and are heavier to move.
LCD Tvs are less prone to Screen Burn In.

What is the cable thing you connect to your iPod so you can listen to it in the car?

The better way to use a iPod in a auto situation is with a FM Transmitter. Belkin and Griffen both make really good ones.

Products from my answer
Belkin - TuneCast Auto FM Transmitter for Apple® iPod®

Griffin Technology - iTrip FM Transmitter for Apple® iPod® and iPhone - Black

? about focusing options?

I want a camera that will allow me to focus through a fence when taking photos of my kids playing sports without focusing on the fence itself.
Auto Focus systems have a tendency to first focus on whats closest to the camera and the most definable line or edge. Shooting through a fence is hard because you have both of these things at once.
The best way is of course to use manual focus to focus past the fence.
You can also try zooming in on your subject...getting the focus...leave the button partially pressed and zoom back out...then push it all the way down to take the picture.

About the Samsung SMX-C10

I have just purchased this camcorder online, and in the description it says that it has 16 GB of interenal memory, but while reading reviews I found out this statement is false? Can someone help me out here?
The Samsung SMX-C14 is the camcorder with 16gb built in, the SMX-C10 is card only model.

Sony XBR 8-46"

I bought this in 10/09 and am very happy. I need a new tv for my family room- but space is at a premium and 50" width may be a deal killer. looking for 46" and about 44" wide, matte screen important, 3d is not. It would help if the speakers really worked, like the XBR 8. recommendation?
The Sony XBR 8 uses the Bravia 2 engine and is a full 1080p screen. Motionflo is at 120hz.
Sony has several Bravia models that are 120hz and 1080p from 32" up to 46".

Products from my answer
Sony - BRAVIA 32" Class / 1080p / 120Hz / LCD HDTV

Sony - BRAVIA 46" Class / 1080p / 120Hz / LCD HDTV

Need Help doing Burst shooting....

I got a Nikon P100, which I think I will love. I cant figure out the burst shooting.
Anyone???
Thanks
The "burst mode" is found in the menu settings under Contentious. There are two types...Continuous H and Continuous L. The H version is at 10 fps (Frames Per Second) and fills up the buffer pretty fast, after about 6 shots you'll have to wait for the buffer to clear to resume shooting.
The L versions is at 2.8 fps and is fairly constant, but mush slower.
These are accessed while in the "Sports" mode on the dial at the top of the camera. Then press the menu button and chose the speed of the burst.

how do I re-run the setup wizard for a 40" dynex TV

If there is not a reset button on the back of the TV you could try this to get to "out of the box" condition:
Press "INPUT", then "2580" ...you should be in the the service menu area which is a yellow-green screen at the top left.
Using the down scroll button on the remote control, scroll to "Other Setting".
Press the right scroll button once.
Scroll down this new menu to "EEPROM Init"
Press the right scroll button once.
Follow the next prompt to reset.
... this is suggested from another Dynex owner. Good Luck.
