Laptop Compatibility
I am buying a new tv and I would like to be able to hook up my laptop and run slide shows of digital photos on the tv screen. What features do I need to have in the tv to allow this to happen. Thanks
Most LCD TVs have a VGA input. Confirm that the TV you are looking to purchase has a VGA input and you should be able to connect your laptop with no problem.

why do things look squaty on some tvs
There are several different screen formats other than 4:3 and 16:9. There is also...1.85:1...2.38:1.
A video made in one format and played back on another my make distortions.
There might be a button on your remote for the TV to switch between settings to help compensate for this.

How can you receive digital broadcast tv? I have a new flat screen and a DVD player, now what?
It would be helpful to know which brand and model TV you have.
'The TV should have an antenna input and a choice in the menu settings for setup channel selection.
Connect an external antenna and set the channel setup.
If it is a HD ready TV it probably does not contain a built-in HDTV tuner and you will need to add a Top Box to receive off air HDTV.

Why is my portable DVD player saying "No Valid Disc"
This player is a Toshiba and worked before now all of a sudden it won't see the DVD's. I have cleaned it still nothing. It turns but it just says No Valid Disc". I have even tried the movies that played before?
Two possible common problems might be at work here.
First...put a disk in, close the lid...wait a few seconds..open and see if the disk is in the EXACT POSITION as when you first put it in.
If it is the disk is not spinning up and the player needs to be serviced.
The other problem isn't as easy to test. If you have used the Player alot the laser might have become too weak to properly read a disk.

For the cannonT2i what speed and size card do I need?
The Canon T2i is compatible SD, SDHC, SDXC and Eye-Fi SD cards.
Class 6 would be best.

what kind of cable do I need to connect my toshiba satellite laptop to my hdtv?
If the laptop has a VGA out and the HDTV has a VGA input you can use a VGA cable to connect the two together.

Can you fix camera LCD screens?
My camera still works and takes pictures but the LCD doesnt work. Its like cracked inside.
Take it to your nearest BestBuy and have the Geek Squad take a look. They can advice you what can be done.

Standard SD should work fine. Up 2gb.

Is it possible to get a Blu-ray disc player that will also play VCR's, or do you still have to have a separate VCR player?
Panasonic has a Blu-Ray player with built in VHS player.
