What is Best flat screen for screened in porch
Want a small flat screen to be in screened in porch. Will bring inside for winter.

Memory cards are not limited to just photo files. Any data can be stored on these cards.

Taking pictures at several hundred feet
Hi, I work seasonal at TARGET FIELD. I want a camera where someone can take pictures of players, or whatever. At 100 to 400 or so feet. What might work? I don't know if that is just optical zoom. For instance: A good monocular would be a 10x40. I'm not sure how to figure camera shot distance. THANKS
Getting a spotting scope with a t-ring attachment to connect a camera should do the job. Look for a t-ring that matches the scope you use and the camera you plan to shoot with.

There is a slide scanner made by ION Audio that scans both 35mm slides and film.

What camera to buy?
My mother is looking for a camera so that she can sell some things on e-bay. She has never used a digital camera, so it needs to be easy to use, and also inexpensive (under $100), but decent enough to take a good picture for e-bay. Any suggestions? Thanks.
GE has a nice little camera that is 12w.2 mp with a 5x optical zoom under $100. That should be a good starter camera for her.

live view on DSLR
I am looking to buy an used Canon EOS 350D (Rebel XT) DSLR, the only reservation I have is that it does not have a "live view" on the LCD, I need some advise, thanks.
The 350D is a really nice camera. The 300D was my first Digital-SLR and I shot several years with it.
If you are use to taking pictures with a compact camera than you are in the habit of using the LCD to compose the shot. On a Digital-SLR you look through the view finder. Many photographers find this much better because it isolates you from distractions...lets you concentrate on just what you want to photograph. Live View has its uses but if you are changing to a Digital-SLR to improve your photographic skills you will find a view finder more useful.

I am desiding between Nikon D3000 or D5000. But I would like to know about Live View features. Can someone help me?
The differences between a Compact Camera and a Digital-SLR are many, but one of the most noticeable differences is that on a Compact Digital Camera you look at a screen on the back to compose the shot and you look through a viewfinder on a Digital-SLR.
Live View if when a Digital-SLR acts like a compact and shows you the shot LIVE on the LCD screen.
Cameras with Live View and a view finder give you the option to use one or the other.

You would need a drill bit rated for concert drilling and correct anchors rather than standard wall screws.
