LG LCD won't power on but flashes
My LG LCD tv is about 2 and half years old. I've loved it until I had to move. It was handled delicately and not dropped (I moved it on cushioned seat). Now it only flashes green and red and won't cut on. I called the LG hotline and all they said was to unplug it and then plug it back in. I also read there's a reset button, but I can't find it. HELP!!
Usually the reset button is very tiny and in a pinhole. This makes it so the button does not get pushed accidentally.
You will need something to insert into the hole...a straightened paper clip works well for this...insert and press gently and hold for 30seconds. Remove the clip and try turning on the TV as normal.
If this does not solve the problem it should be taken in for servicing.

Can you watch HD movies taken with a camera on a regular TV
If I purchase a camera that takes HD movies will I be able to watch them on a regular TV? Thanks.
Generally using the A/V Cables (Audio Video) that came with the camera should allow you to connect and view the video on any TV through the A/V inputs on the TV.

The red, green and blue lights on my 70" projection TV are VERY bright, so bright they show on wall behind me like a projector. How do I fix this?
The TV is a Mitsubishi VS-70705
The lights also are seperated, the picture is fine, but if you sit in the wrong spot in the room

The only suggestion is that there should be a menu area for color calibration and convergence. Around that area you should be able to reduce separate intensities.

Need help deciding on camera
My husband and I own our own remodeling business, and I take before and after pictures of the jobs. I was wondering what type of dslr camera would show the details better. I have a point and shoot, but i am not happy with it. any help would be great.
Any of the entry level Digital-SLR cameras will work fine for this type of photo work. Generally the stock lens that comes with all basic camera kits...usually a 18-55mm...would get a fairly wide shot.
If the kit doesn't come with that size lens ( some come with a 35-70mm) it would be best to get come that starts at 18mm or lower. You will want that lower mm size to more area in the photo.

The picture on my new samsung can be ridiculously dark,
Some shows and channels are fine, but others are so dark it looks like there is no lighting at all. The faces are the only thing that looks normal, but even their clothes are dark. But I can change the channel and it's okay. i don't want to have to change the settings with every channel switch! I watched the dvd "Changeling" and it was very dark and there was an odd look to the picture, like it was shot with a video camera, sort of looked like a soap opera, not a prime time show or movie -- does this make sense?
Sounds like the auto image adjust might be at fault. Try setting the TV back to factory default settings. Without knowing the specific model it is hard to say what might be the cause.

i want to record copies of a dvd iI made is there a recorder for that. I know I can burn it on computer but am curious to know of another way to make copies
There is a DvD Duplicator from Aleratec. There is one to one copiers and multi copy versions.

I cannot find any information on a Canon SXi...however there is a XSi from Canon.
