How do you digitize 35 mm slides?

Have a number of 35mm slides that I want to load into my computer so they can be printed.
There are two Slide/Film Scanners available from ION AUDIO. One with view screen and one with out.

Does the canon SX20 IS have threading that allow for macro's and a hood?
It appears to have a Bayonet Mount for Lens Hood and Threads for filters.

What type of camera that has both great pictures and video?

I am looking at Nikon cameras but just want a good quality camera (not expensive) that takes good pictures and has video.
The Nikon D5000 is a good choice. It is a full Digital-SLR that also shoots 720p HD video.

Digital Camera Software

I just got a Digital Camera (1st timer), and I would like to know what the CD is for that came with the camera.
Some cameras will include a disk that has some type of photo editing and inputting software. The editing software is usually very limited. The disk might also include some drivers.

What is the best software to edit HD video?

I have been using window movie maker but it will not edit in HD...the software converts to a lower quality.
There is quite a few editing softwares out there that edit HD. Adobe Premier and Sony Vegas to name just a couple.
The biggest hurdle about editing HD is the drive speed. Most editing software will need two 10,000rpm sata drives running in a raid configuration to be able to handle HD video smoothly.

What is the format HD recorders in?(MP4)

It is generally a variation of a mp4 compression/codec. Most use AVCHD. Each manufacture has different versions of this codec.

Microphone jack on any of these products?

I don't believe any of the Flash Drive cameras have a external Mic input, actually very few cameras have a external Mic input anymore.

The Canon WP-DC14 Waterproof Case for Canon SD750 Digital Camera is more of a housing to take the camera under water.
DicaPac makes a bag to cover the camera with for the same purpose.

My battery will not charge, how do I know if the charger or the battery is at fault?

On way of course is if you have another battery to see if the charger charges it...if not than the charger is bad.
If the charger is also the power supply for the camcorder and the camcorder works when plugged into it than the charger is probably good.

How to play a mini-dvd to a dvd player?

I recently bought a Sony DCR-DVD650 Handycam. My problem is I can't play the disk on a dvd player. The disk only plays on my handycam. What should I do so I can view my videos on a dvd player?
The DvD will need to be finalized in the camcorder before it can be played back on a DvD Player.
This should be an option in the Menu screen.
