What is fps? And what is the best cannon camera for this?

Cameras can be set in Burst mode (not to be confused with Movie Mode). This is a setting for capturing sequential shots by keeping the shutter button pressed. The speed of the camera is counted as FPS (Frames Per Second).
Entry level Digital-SLR cameras are typically at up to 3FPS. Professional cameras are generally 5-6FPS and some as high as 10FPS.
The Canon 50D and 7D come in at 8FPS and the 1D Mark III at a whopping 10FPS.

How do I transfer photos from memory card to computer then have the memery card erased?

It is best to format the card not just erase the photos. This will insure that the card captures at the best speed and lessens the chance of write error and fragmented files.
If you have a multi card reader it would be best to use that to transfer the photos to the computer. You should also be able to use the camera with a USB cable compatible with the camera.
After the transfer look in the menu area of the camera to format the memory....don't use the computer to format. The camera needs to set up special areas on the card for its file system.

Can I restore my erased pictures from a SD card???

I accidently formated my digtal camera and erased all the pictures from the SD card and internal memory. Is there a simple program I can get to restore the pictures without damage to the SD card memory?? The card has not been used since.
There are several good data recovery programs. I use R-Studio. You could also look at Search and Recover.
It is good that the card has not been used since the format otherwise there can be big problems recovering any photos.

What lens (for the Rebel T1I) would be best for taking pictures of ice hockey games through glass

One of the tricky things about hockey photography is that sometimes the action comes right up to the glass...very close and then is far across the ice. Because of that a 75-300mm lens wouldn't work well because it isn't wide enough for the close-up shots.
Look for something around a 18-200mm lens.
Also get a Circular Polarizer that will fit the lens. It can helps cut down on the glare and reflection shooting through the glass.

I have lenses from a 35 mm nikon camera is there a digital camera they will work on they are bayonet ? not screw on

If they are Auto Focus there is a good chance they will work on many of the Nikon Digital-SLR cameras.
There will be a conversion factor on lenses from 35mm cameras being used on a Digital-SLR. A 1.6 multiple is generally used. For example a 70-300mm lens would work as a 112-480mm zoom lens on a Digital-SLR.

when i transferd my photos to my computer some of them are blur hoe i fix this

Generally a blurry photo can't be brought back proper sharpness. You might recover a small amount by using the Gaussian Sharpen tool in Photoshop.

How do I find this?

I am looking for a charger for a Samsung tl100. Where can I find that?
This camera uses a SAC-47 USB Charger.
Do a Google search for SAC-47, there are many places online that carry it.

IM INTERESTED IN 2 CANON CAMERS SD970 AND SX200 SO CAN YO TELL ME THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE FOCAL LENS LENGTH 37-185MM AND 28-336MM

28-336MM lens will give you a little more wider shot (28mm vs 37mm) and the 336mm is a lot more zoom than the 185mm.
The 28-336MM is a lot more versatile yet still gives you all the shots that the 37-185MM lens can.

Best Ameture Photographer Camera

I am looking for a first time slr camera for myself for some ameture photography. I've been using a Canon point and shoot for now, but am ready for the next step. Any suggestions on the best camera? I'm looking to use it for weddings, vacations, water sports, etc. I'm looking for something that if I get good enough and "well known" I could possibly use this camera to begin a business with.
There are several great entry level cameras. Canon, Nikon and Sony have many to choose from.
Canon has a lot of lenses to choose from.
Nikon has several cameras with Full 1080 HD video shooting capability.
Sony can use many Minolta lenses and has Steady Shot and wireless control of off camera flash built in.
It is hard to say which one is better over the other. Stop by your nearest BestBuy and look for one that feels good in YOUR hands and has the features that interest you.
HD video is something that you may wont for short films productions. Off camera control of a flash is helpful in wedding photography.
Canon lenses have many that are great for sports.

What is the difference between digital and SLR?

SLR is Single Lens Reflex. It is a type of image delivery system. A mirror reflects the image seen through the lens to the viewfinder and "flips" out of the way when the shutter button is pushed. The image then imprints on the film or sensor in the case of a digital camera.
A Digital-SLR simply means that it uses a Digital sensor instead of Film.
Compact cameras have a smaller lens and much smaller sensor. The image seen on the LCD screen is slightly offset compared to what is seen in the viewfinder and final image.
