Memory Stick
Memory Stick

Does a memory stick go into a computer?

Some computers, such as laptops, have built in card readers that read SD and several other types of memory media. Memory stick and Pro Duo are generally referred to as Sony type memory. Not all computers with built in card readers will recognize Memory Stick.
Adding a Multi-Card reader to your system will get Memory and Pro Duo access.

what the best lense for a canon to shoot basketball shots

what's the best lense to get shots from the baseline?
A 70-300mm IS ( Image Stabilized) Lens would work well for you. The Image Stabilizer will help take care of some of the shake from hand held shots. The action moves pretty fast at a game and using a Tri-pod will slow you down.

Interested in buying the Cannon EOS Digital XSi or T1i. Will my 35-80mm and EF 75-300mm lenses from my 3pmm EOS Rebel G fit and work?

They should work but there will be a 1.6 x conversion on all 35mm lenses used on this camera.
Your 35-80mm will become a 56-128mm and your 75-300mm will work as a 120-480mm lens.

i have a nikon d3000 what tipe of memery card should i use . my camera takes a long time to show pics.
SanDisk Extreme III SD Memory Card are some of the fastest memory cards. You can also see some speed increase by using SDHC instead of standard SD memory.

What is the difference between an sd memory cards to memory stick pro duo?

Memory Stick Pro Duo is a Sony compatiable memory card and SD (Secure Disk) is a memory media used by other companies. The speed and function are similar but not interchangeable.

Camera for semi professional

I am a travel writer and would like to take some pictures to go along with my articles - which camera is best to capture crisp clean photos to use on the web and in magazines? I would like to spend aboput $800.
An advanced compact or entry level D-SLR would give you more control of your camera in shooting conditions that you don't have control over.
A compact camera would be smaller to carry but the limitations of lens speed, sensor size and shutter lag time may become more of a frustration than anything useful.
The advanced compact will give you many of the features of a D-SLR camera without the interchangeable lenses. Most advanced compact's built in lens is already pretty fast...around f/2.8...which is pretty good for low light conditions.
The larger sensor on a D-SLR would give you much better color separation and clarity plus the interchangeable lenses would allow you to adapt to different shooting conditions.
There is many cameras to choose from that will fit nicely into your budget.
Stop buy your nearest BestBuy and try some of the cameras at the demo area. Look for one that feels good in YOUR hands.

What is the best memory card for a Nikon s60 digital camera?

Red Nikon s60 touchscreen digital camera
Current memory card is 256MB SD Card (LEXAR)
Both SD and SDHC cards will work with the Nikon s60.
SD cards are up to 2gb and SDHC cards are 2gb and higher.
Any size and brand should work fine.

which dslr is better..sony, canon or nikon?

I'm looking to replace my Minolta Maxxum5 35mm camera with a DSLR. I've been seriously considering a Sony A330 but can't decide between the Sony, a Canon Rebel or a Nikon camera. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)
The Sony a330 has a lot of built in features that are add-ons for Canon and Nikon.
Wireless control of external flash is built into Sony. Steady Shot is built in on Sony.
Also your Minolta lenses are compatible with the Sony D-SLR cameras.
