MagSafe Charger Clone but cheaper

What a great charger! Everyone knows the biggest annoying of charging your phone with a wireless charger is finding the right spot for the wireless charging to recognize.
Well not in this case! It instantly attaches to your phone and charges instantly. Although, it does not display the charge icon that is unique to the newer iPhone models like the official charger from Apple does but don't let this distract you from the fact that this is a great charger. This wireless charger is thin, small - but super effective. My phone charges really quickly on it, and it feels SO nice to just set my phone down and not have to worry about wires and whatnot. I was worried that the cord would be short but the cord attached to my charger is really long and gives me more than enough room to place it on my desk. I'm likely going to buy another one of these chargers for my office since it's so convenient!
The charger has great build quality. The housing is aluminum, which gives it a nice, solid feel. It also has a comforting heft to it, without being heavy. The design of this charger is also very thoughtful. It lays flat, is simple, but elegant. The magnet holds as well as the Apple MagSafe charger (keep in mind that for either one, you’ll get the strongest hold with a phone case designed for MagSafe or without using a case at all). I have two official Apple cases - one leather case and one white silicon case. This charger attached securely with both the cases without any issues. I've tested it by rigorously shaking and the phone never fell off, which is quite impressive. I've attached pic of my phone attached to the charger while it's hanging.
The only complaint that I have with this is that it does not charge my phone when connected with my laptop. I tried both, a MacBook & a windows laptop but it didn't charge. Not sure if Apple MagSafe charger has the capability to charge through laptop or not but this one surely doesn't have. This is the reason for taking one star off. Other than this, this is a great charger.
I consider this a “no brainer” charger. You put your phone on it and it charges (as long as your phone is compatible). There is nothing worse thank trying to plug your phone charger in when it’s dark, if you can get it plugged in then after awhile the cord will break or the port on the phone will. Not gonna happen with this charger.

Great Product + Affordable!

My wife is absolutely obsessed with this. She suffers from chronic daily migraines, and this ice roller is a lifesaver! I've been using this as well occasionally but mostly, its her. Not only does it help with her migraines, but it helps with her skin. I was a little annoyed that I have to take the roller off to put it in the freezer and not just put the whole thing in at once, but honestly it works so well I don't even care anymore! She uses this ice roller after she has done her face masks. We are enjoying it for the sheer fact that it's been really freaking hot these days here in Arizona and it is really refreshing. I was surprised at how large it was at first, but it actually ends up being the perfect size to use on your face for sinuses, migraines, or anywhere on your body for sore muscles. I feel like I've had a massage afterwards- and for only $15! Some of the benefits of ice rolling are:
- reduces puffiness
- calms redness
- helps fight wrinkles
- reduces pore size
- firms skin
- with headaches
Since my wife gets migraines regularly and an ice pack wrapped in a towel pressed to her temple was one of her most dependable forms of relief. So, I figured that given that these things cost less than two cups of Starbucks coffee, it was worth the risk. The thing is...it actually works. It's no miracle cure or anything, but it absolutely helps her migraines both on her temples and the back of her neck. It's hard to describe the texture of the roller. It's hard plastic but it feels slightly gel-like when you roll it. It's very odd because it feels very different when you just press on it with your fingers than when you actually roll it. It doesn't stay cold for all that long once you start using it (obviously, since your body heat warms it and it's actually pretty small). I stays cold for about 15-20 mins depending your body temp. You'd tire yourself out if you're doing it longer than that anyway. It feels so amazing on the face, including over your eyes to depuff them.
This is one of those products that you don’t realize you need it until you have it. Highly recommend if you have neck problems, migraines, sinus congestion, etc. This will for sure be my Christmas present to everyone this year.

Can't go wrong with Vizio!
on September 5, 2021
Posted by: MacUser
from Phoenix, AZ, USA
This is the 2nd Vizio TV that I've owned. Although, one of my relatives (family) had one for yearsss. How do I know it? Because I stayed with them for more than 3 years and that's when I fell in love with Vizio. I have had this TV for 5 days now and I wanted to share my feelings on the positives, negatives, and overall traits. I did extensive research on Youtube and Amazon before landing on this one. Here are my thoughts:
- PACKAGING: The box has a "pull off top" that allows you to expose the TV while it is standing upright and easily get your hands under it to lift if straight out. There was plenty of styrofoam and the screen and TV overall were clean and devoid of scratches or cracks.
- SETUP: The setup for the remote, Smart TV options, etc, was SUPER easy. It did take me some time to establish connection thru Optical cable with my Bose sound bar which was formally connected to my other Vizio TV but ultimately I was able to do it. The setup of Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video was done in minutes.
- PERFORMANCE: My second biggest concern with getting a TV was that I've always seen these user interfaces lag. I hate lag, no one likes lag, it makes you feel frustrated. The apps that I saw my friends use on their devices were slow, sometimes taking multiple seconds just to show basic information. The processor in this TV is crazy. I've not only never seen lag, but the TV remembers what you were last doing in apps so you can easily swap between apps. Truly unbelievable they achieve this without lag, this television often feels more like a computer.
- USER INTERFACE: I've seen a lot of horrible interfaces. This though this is one of the absolute best. Your dashboard is entirely customizable with apps you want to use. The dashboard is great at showing you content from each app that you want to see without having to dig for it. As an example, the news app shows latest news that's relevant. Or the music app shows your recently played playlists. Amazing. The UI is great, but what is more amazing is that each app has its own well-designed interface. Truly the individual apps for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and others are even better than the companies that made those apps have developed. I would take Vizio's app interfaces over the others any day. So good.
- SOUND QUALITY: If you care about sound quality, you're going to always skip the tv speaker and use your own hardware. That's the truth here too, but the default sound quality is above average. Very good lows, highs, and hearing conversations in noisy moments is well done. I'm using the Bose soundbar, so tv speaker quality doesn't bother me at all.
- PICTURE QUALITY: I have watched hours of 4K content on Youtube to test the color, dynamic range, etc. It's brilliant! Really blew me away. I would recommend (after making this mistake myself) to not get too wrapped up in all the comparisons and little distractions brought up in various Youtube videos. The reality is this Vizio 4K TV is going to look pretty amazing. The reviewers get down into crazy details that the average person just won't notice. The tv gravitates towards a darker picture. I had no trouble modifying this, and the settings to quickly do this from one moment to another is extremely simple. The 4K video quality is really good, pretty much keeps up with any other 4K video that I have seen in retail stores. Colors have a crisp detail, very bright and lifelike. There is a light sensor that dims the picture automatically, that come in really useful for TV shows. The light dimmer is really good compared to some of my other TVs in that it just turns down the backlight without compromising detail or brightness. Absolutely love it!
- REMOTE: The remote kinda sucks. It is very small (a tad bigger than the Amazon Fire TV remote) and has minimal buttons. I've learned to use it just fine, but I really don't understand this dumb concept of "minimalist" TV remotes. There are no numerical buttons. This is not an issue for me because I use my Apple TV remote all the time, so this remote will be sitting on the side for most of the time. If you are using the remote in a dark media room, it's basically impossible to see the buttons. And the remote has no backlite or glow-in-the-dark features. Not a dealbreaker, but terrible nonetheless.
- OVERALL: This unit nailed every single thing I was weary of, and over-delivered everywhere else. I would buy this device again in a heartbeat. Keep it up Vizio, you truly are a wonderful manufacturer.

Tough competition to Xbox controller
on July 29, 2021
Posted by: MacUser
from Phoenix, AZ, USA
I can't believe I'm saying this but I love this controller more than my Xbox one. The only thing that I slightly dislike on this is the fact that it is not wireless. It comes with a 10' long cable (a braided USB-C to USB-A) which is more than enough for me but I'm accustomed to play with the wireless ones. So it was little hard for me initially to get used to it. Controller feels great and seems to work perfectly with my PC. The controller feels great in hand and buttons are solid. There's a lot of value in this controller with features such as textured grip, programmable buttons, Series X Share button, and the built in audio controls. Connecting this controller to my Xbox was a breeze and I was able to get it to work easily. It was practically plug and play. This controller has amazed me in it's quality and feel overall. The programmable buttons on the rear can even be programmed to a sequence of buttons rather than a single input as well! The vibration motors work great and it's super comfortable. It truly feels like an Xbox One controller (honestly better due to the grippy texture of the rear plate. It feels like mid-weight as it is not too heavy nor too light. Nice clicky buttons, good spring on the controller paddles. I used it to play Metal Gear Solid V game and I can't tell how many times those two buttons on the rear of the controller have come in handy. It's literally a game changer. I cannot speak for long term use and how well it holds up, but out of the box it feels super high quality compared to the cheaper controllers as well as the official Xbox and PlayStation controllers. The more I use it the more I fall in love with it. Turtle beach is a renowed company and it has lived up to its expectations. Good quality controller, sturdy, very responsive buttons... over all very nice quality. And this comes from an avid gamer, and one who has bought other 3rd party controllers online, which were usually subpar. Feels exactly like an xbox one controller except the handles are textured and easier to hold onto for longer periods of time. So far, I couldn't be happier with this. I waited an entire week and have used this controller pretty heavily before I could write a review because I wanted to be thorough. Well here you go, my honest opinion: 5 out of 5 stars!

Best nail care for baby!
on June 26, 2021
Posted by: MacUser
from Phoenix, AZ, USA
This is absolutely the one “can’t live without” baby product we’ve come across and we’ve tried a lot of baby gadgets. Cutting fingernails was so stressful for us and the kid (when he was a little baby), even now - my wife hesitate to do it every time! Even with our best efforts and both helping we still got pinched fingers every time. NOT with Tweezerman! You don’t even have to worry about pinching anymore. You just press them up against the finger and it works great. Do yourself a favor and don't buy any other nail clipper or file. It takes a second to figure out how it works, but just take a minute to practice on your own nail if you are worried, so you get it. It'll be worth it, and you won't ever worry about snipping your baby's fingers anymore.
If you have a child user the age of 10 or under, buy these. We have a 5 year old and are expecting another one in October. We are so glad we got this. They are absolutely amazing and so easy to use. In short, these are what you need unless you have magic or your baby is only masquerading as a human. I highly recommend them for a new parent!

Cute Little Portable Air Purifier
on June 10, 2021
Posted by: MacUser
from Phoenix, AZ, USA
I got this purifier for the sole purpose of using it in my cars. We have a bigger air purifier that we have been using in our rooms almost since the beginning of this pandemic but I've always wondered how can we clean the air inside our cars until I saw this Pure Enrichment Portable Air Purifier. I immediately grabbed it to give it a try. I am impressed with the physical and visual quality of this unit. We have been using it at least twice a week in our cars to keep the air clean.
The box contains the purifier itself, a filter (wrapped in a plastic sleeve) and a charging cable. Initially, the filter that I received had patches dirt on it. I contacted the company right away and they sent me a brand new purifier and an extra filter very next day. That was an awesome customer service. Very happy with that. So now I have two sets of this air purifier, one each car.
I'm not an air quality expert but I do like clean air. The reason I got this purifier is because it is small, attractive and portable. It's designed to be used in an area up to 54 sq. feet. I put it on charge as soon as I received it. It took couple of hours to fully charge. The unit itself functions great. Two fan speeds to get the job done, relatively quiet, and the machine moves air directly up, which I like. Great aesthetics as well. It works magically and keeps the air flow in my car. We have a 5 year old at home and are expecting another one in few months. So that was the main reason for getting this purifier. We wanted to keep the air clean wherever we possibly can because of the kid(s). I have no way of measuring the air before and after or what's being filtered but this has given me enough confidence that the air inside the cars will be clean, at least better than if we don't use it. My wife can't stand strong smell of car air fresheners because it triggers her migraines. So we can't use them in any of our cars which causes unpleasant odor inside the cars. This purifier works very efficiently- and does a great job of getting rid of those unpleasant odors. Believe me, it has been a life saver so far. Another nice thing about this is that if it runs out of charge, you can simply plug it in to the USB port if you have one in your car. We live in Arizona and have made multiple trips to California (~5 hours each way) ever since I received this purifier. I took it with me every time and had it run non-stop during entire trip. I would plug it in anytime its battery died. So that's a really helpful feature. I'm not sure if other purifiers in the market have this feature or not.
The air in my cars feels cleaner and fresher than before. I’m so happy with this purchase and highly recommend it, specially looking at its price which makes it very affordable.

Great sound and battery life!
on June 1, 2021
Posted by: MacUser
from Phoenix, AZ, USA
I've always liked JLAB products. The more earbuds I look at, the more I realize what an excellent value these are. I can’t express how much these headphones have gone above and beyond my expectations. Received them couple of weeks ago and have been using them almost everyday & so far I am honestly impressed with the quality of these buds. Super easy to set up/user friendly & directions are clear/straight forward that I'm almost positive that anyone can probably handle setting these up/using them. Charges really fast & battery life is quite long. Light weight case & buds are pretty light as well. Easy to adjust & use as far as volume control/calls/skip/etc. Sound quality is actually pretty great considering they aren't really "top of the line." I was kinda surprised, thinking they weren't gonna be very loud but I must say these are some of the best ear buds I've had. I mean of course they are no Air Pods/Pod Max, but let me tell you for the price point they definitely aren't something to dismiss. The audio from these guys is respectably decent.
Sound Quality - At first, I wasn't completely thrilled with the sound quality, but again, these are not expensive earbuds. Then I saw a video saying that if you're using the smaller size gel tips, the bass leaks out around the sides of it and you're not getting the full sound. I switched to larger gels and the sound improved dramatically.
Controls - I really wanted volume and playback controls on the earbud. Most wireless earbuds will let you control those things via Siri, Google, etc. but I wanted touch controls, and these work great. I can walk with my phone in my pocket and by touching the earbuds, control volume, skip a track, etc.
Pairing with Multiple Devices - After the initial pairing, the Sesh Evo will pair automatically when you remove them from the case. Works great. But I use this regularly with my phone and with a Fire TV stick. Going between the two took a little bit of practice but I learned the trick. When you have finished with one device, just go to Settings and choose Forget this Device. I also turn bluetooth off to keep it from searching. Then the next device will pair quickly and easily.
Battery Life - I've only had them a few days, but so far, I'm very impressed with the life on the buds themselves, and the case holds its charge incredibly well. The case they go in also recharges them quickly.
Fit - They fit so snuggly and comfortably in my ears. I am one who has lost many earbuds due to the way they hang down or do not fit properly in my ear. Those days are gone. These beauties stay in my ears and have incredible sound. I don’t have to worry about them falling out. The cancel out other noise very well.
JLAB made a decent product that is much more affordable, and I am glad I gave them a shot! I always liked their wired headphone back in the day. Keep it up JLAB! Now if JLAB manages to make some high quality audio ones comparable to Seinheiser, Sony, Bose, or even the Airpod pros for a much lower cost, I'm all ears! They've earned my respect on these true wireless headphones. Definitely recommend!

Great headphones for home office!

from Phoenix, AZ, USA
Wow. These are absolutely phenomenal headphones. I've been looking for a bluetooth headset to use for my meetings at work, saw these and thought I'd give them a shot. For the price, you can't go wrong. I was super excited to try them when they arrived. I gave them the initial charge and paired them after following the instructions. The paring with PC was quick and easy. I just initiated the pairing mode at the headset, went to the PC Bluetooth menu and selected “Add a Device”. The rest was done by the PC. The sound quality is the same- deep, rich, loud, and clear. The headset is made of flexible, light weight plastic. It comes with USB-C charging cable and also an aux cable in case you want to use it in a traditional way (wired).
What I like:
1. Headphone are extremely comfortable to wear. Thanks to the cushioned earpieces. Absolutely love them. It stays on your head and on your ears until you want to take it off, unlike my previous headphones that just kept slipping off my head. These are tight enough to stay there and loose enough to be comfortable on your ears.
2. Audio quality is good. I am not looking for Bose type quality, but video/music playback is fine and so are the calls.
3. Distance is good. On other Bluetooth devices, I can get a couple of rooms away. With this one, I can almost walk throughout the house with only 1 dead spot on the complete opposite side. Usually, I just walk around in my room while I'm in the meetings, so bluetooth range is not an issue for me at all.
4. Stays connected to two machines. I was concerned about this. I wanted it to work with two PC's at once. The connection process could be more straight forward, but it isn't bad. You connect to one machine and then sync it to the other. After you have both devices synced, then you have to connect it to the first again. Not a big issue and it does keep the connection.
5. Great battery life. I fully charged them after taking them out of the box and have used them for more than a week now without needing to recharge them and don't see a need to for at least another week. They can be fast charged via USB-C.
6. Buttons are nicely placed and are very easy to operate. I really like the mute button placement on outside of right earpiece. It comes in very handy during Microsoft Teams or Skype calls. There's an LED light indicator at the end of the mic stick that indicates whether you are on mute or not.
7. It's cheap. Cheap enough that if you break it, you can replace it without fretting over the $$ you sunk into the previous incarnation.
I can go on and on listing things I love about these headphones. As far as things I don't like, there aren't many. I personally wish the ear pads on the speaker were a bit bigger, but it's not horrible. It feels like it has a decent quality to it when holding it and putting it on. Other than that, I absolutely love them and highly recommend if you are in the market for decent headphones for work.

Lightweight & powerful but could be better

This is an okay vacuum for everyday use. We have a mix flooring of tiles and carpeting. We struggled with a cheap cordedless vacuum for a year and still had to go back over it with our corded Dyson. I finally got this and have mixed review after almost 2 weeks of usage. Out of the box, everything was nicely packaged. It might look small/delicate but it does it’s job well. It is very light weight and simple to set up, charge and clean filter. Very maneuverable in tight spaces, this vacuum is good for small areas with lots of furniture, end tables, chairs, etc. in the way. I don't think this vacuum would be any good at deep carpets or large areas in a house, that's not what it's designed for. The noise is much quieter than my previous vacuum. My wife and I could have a normal volume conversation over it on the low-power setting. I didn’t feel like I was disruptive to anyone with the vacuum. When using the high-power setting, it was, of course, noisier, but still quieter than my other corded vacuum. You have to take your time a little more because this is not a high power corded vacuum, but it does pick up light stuff. I like that the battery is removable so you could feasibly have more than one if you want. The rollers on the brush head also feel very soft, unlike other hard plastic vacuum wheels which rattle across wood floors. There is also a kickback strip on the underside so nothing comes flying back at your feet.
This works well for reaching high places – cobwebs, bugs, dust, etc. It works just ok as a vacuum. Yes, it sucks up dirt pretty well but the teeny/tiny dust cup makes it less useful for cleaning anything other than small messes. The battery life on this is not great. It lasts for about 20-25 mins max and takes couple of hours to charge. We used to own another brand stick vacuum and the battery life that was just as bad, It would get annoying at times when we would be vacuuming and all of a sudden, it stopped working due to dead battery. It would not even finish our upstairs on one full charge. We had to finish the rest with our other corded vacuum. I see the same issue with this one as well. If you adopt this vacuum with the thought of using it for the whole house, you cannot reasonably finish in a day unless you have a small house or apartment. Because of this, this vacuum will never be our primary vacuum, though it will be our go-to for quick jobs and for areas where maneuverability is needed - especially the steps. The battery life is going to get worse with prolong usage in future, although I hope that's not the case. So, if you are only vacuuming up little things every once in a while this would work. I haven't vacuumed out my car with this model yet, but I'm sure it would work great for that too. The charging platform is good but there is no place to store the upholstery brush – that is odd and a big oversight.
Overall, I felt this thing had really great suction power on the low-power mode for picking up bits of paper, sand, fur, hair, dust, dirt, and crumbs but battery life is a big disappointment and might be a deal breaker for some.

This adapter is very compact and lightweight, provides exactly what you need. It has one of the better combination of ports out there, and it looks really sleek, This is the adapter that you are looking for, for your MacBook Pro. It works in both Windows, and MacOS. I've been using it with my 2020 MacBook Pro with touchbar Bar & a company Dell precision laptop (for work) and so far, it has been providing me great results. This compact adapter can handle just about any connection scenario. The color is little different than my space gray macbook but other than that, it just looks like it was designed by apple when I use it with macbook. I can't tell how many time people have asked me if it was indeed an apple product. The adapter works right out of the box without installing any drivers. The whole thing is plug and play and works immediately on my computer with no fuss. The design is that you rotate it and the cable comes out, then you rotate it the other direction and it retracts the cable. I just think its so cleverly designed. It has all the major connections you'd want. I was surprised it had ethernet which came in handy. The form factor is perfect and offers the following range of ports:
- 2 USB-A ports
- 1 USB-C
- 1- HDMI
- 1 DisplayPort
- 1 VGA
- 1 RJ-45 port
The cord retracts into the hockey puck-shaped adapter and it is very easy to throw in a bag and carry around. It is handy if you need to give presentations and are not sure what type of video plug you are going to encounter. So far I've had no issues with the ports. I wasn't sure from the pictures, so was glad to confirm that the plug cord is rubber and wraps around and snaps into the side for storage. I like that the monitor plugs are both in the back so the heavy monitor cable can lay back there rather than the front or side - whereas the USB is in the front for easy access. The ethernet in front is not handy, but luckily I don't have to use it that much - but those cables tend to be more flexible so I don't think it would be a problem.
I just wanted a small adapter that I can carry with my computer and have quick access to the main 4 specific ports (HDMI, Ethernet port, USB & VGA) I encounter daily going to different rooms, different sites (for work), and to secure or underground locations which have wired ethernet only. This adapter fits the bill perfectly. I did not experience any of the problems. The only quibble I have is that the built-in cable should be a couple of inches longer for better positioning flexibility. This product is a little on the expensive side for a Windows peripheral. I would expect to pay something like this for an Apple peripheral. Yes it is expensive, but it does the job really well.
