The next evolution of in-ear sports sound

These awesome sweat and water resistant headphones exceeded my expectations!
Sound: They're BOSE... what did you expect? Bass resonates ridiculously deep from seemingly nowhere, as these things are tiny. Range is good and sound is wonderfully clear.
Size/Feel: In the past I have taken issue with the combination of in ear + ear hook/loop for keeping something like this in place. Admittedly the modules that protrude beyond your ears ARE a little on the large side, and I did bump them on a few things. You definitely won't be lying down on a pillow with these headphones on. The battery and bluetooth radio had to go somewhere however. They didn't sit so far outside my ear as to have a lever effect with the little bit of weight that does exist. All materials feel well made and the hydrophobic skin has a slick grippy feel to it.
Fit: The in ear portion fit extremely well, and makes a relatively solid seal. I was surprised at how little I could hear of the ambient noise. Thankfully BOSE has also provided three different sizes of the hooks that help hold the earphones in place, to make sure you get an optimal fit. I had to tug on my earlobes to put these in just in a pair of construction ear plugs.
Bluetooth/Connectivity: I was mildly annoyed at having the download ANOTHER app to control these, but it DOES add value to the headphones. They came charged 75% out of the box, and I was really into the voice feedback telling me how much was available. After having charged them a few times now I still can't tell how long they take to get to 100%, but I've gotten very close to the reported 6 hour battery life many times. I have not attempted to pair via NFC yet.
Headset/Mic/Controls: In spite of being wireless, these headphones do still have the volume controls and microphone in line with the short cable that goes between the two left/right buds. The microphone was clear and succinct during calls, and I had no complaints from other parties. I wish that I could use the microphone in headset mode for other activities/Siri dictation, and that keeps them from being 5 stars in my mind. The controls are solid and easy to navigate without looking, as well as unobtrusive.
Overall /Value: These have become my go to headphones. I would recommend them to anyone looking for sweat/water resistant headphones or just bluetooth wireless headphones in general.

Lots of options, Reliable Extender

This WIFI extender is the latest in a long line of solid products from linksys. I previously had one of the earlier versions and I was pleased to find the options that had been added to this model.
Coverage across all possible wi-fi bands, MIMO and multiple network support are all there. Almost everythign you could want in an extender.
Setup was a breeze after connecting to it wirelessly and I noted that I could have set the extender up from almost any device I had handy. I accomplished it from my iPad without having to power up a computer.
This device is slightly larger than other extenders, but it does the job very well. The only negative I observed is that the option to remove the wall plug, and attach it to a power cable so it could sit somewhere other than on the wall plate, is not included.
Good solid device, does the job very well, and is a medium value for the price.

Slim case with good drop protection

This case protected my phone from a number of drops. It goes without saying that the case itself, based on the thinness of the material, is sacrificial when it comes to potentially catastrophic drops. I find I need to replace it every so often after cracks develop where the case has broken protecting my phone from a drop.

Once you get used to the concept of a "streaming receiver" this is a decent device. One you pair it with software on your PC like Airparrot, or AllCast on your device, it becomes SUPER useful for streaming, mirroring, etc.

This is a decent quality case for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. The materials are your standard issue "TPU" leather, which means it's a brushed/textured rubber made to feel like a leather material. The edges are a bit thin and I can see them fraying, but that hasn't happened. yet. The plastic frame inside the case allows me to rotate the tablet to view landscape or portrait which is useful. The plastic frame does, however, leave the front corners of the tablet exposed, which I was surprised by. This means the drop protection is minimized when the case is folded open, so be aware.

Great fitness band. I bought this one after doing a bunch of research and looking at the the options. I wanted one that would actually track sleep, rather than estimate sleep based on movement. This is pretty much the only band of this review writing that does that. I purchased it online without seeing it in person first and it is HUGE. So huge in fact that it led me to believe this technology isn't quite ready for me yet. I had purchased one for my spouse as well and she refused to even put it on based on the size. We'll wait until this tech is put in a smaller less obtrusive package thanks,

Couldn't get it to play video

I'm very tech savvy and I could not get it to play videos from multiple different source and multiple different formats. To it's credit, it has onboard memory, card slots, and a standard USB port for reading from a thumb drive. it WOULD NOT play a video from any of the various formats and all sources that I tried. Pictures worked no problem and they looked great on the 14" screen.

While your taking video can you also take a picture at the same time?
You cannot trigger a still while actively taking video. You can grab frames from the 5.4k video after the fact, but you have to stop recording and switch modes to take stills/video.

iPod connector for 2005 Volvo XC90?
One of my collegues at work mentioned that he had Best Buy install an iPod adaptor to his 2004 Volvo XC90 (problematic for most of us owners as the radio user fiber optics, MOST system). I have a 2005 XC90, but the radios are the same. He had thought it ran him about $130 when he Best Buy did it a year or two ago. I have a local Best Buy that I can bring my car to and have this done as well, but I thought I would ask the question first of Best Buy online and understand what unit they offer for this connectivity and how it's installed. Please advise! I'd like to do this within a week... I miss having iPod connectivity!! Chris
The 2005 Volvo XC90 DOES NOT have an auxiliary input, nor can you add one without an accessory like the GROM MST. That's the only way to plug in an ipod or anything to an XC90

I want to use HUE lights with this. Can I buy a 2nd Google Home for my 2nd floor so both floors can access Home to turn off/on lights? If my phone (synced to Home) is out of the house, will voice activation still work for the lights?
Google home will let you group and name the lights for each room. I don't believe they are intended to be used overlapping though. In fact you might confuse it with more than one connected to the same google account. The Google Home works without your phone at home, since it connects directly to the HUE account as well as the internet and wifi directly.
