I've owned several Mr Coffee coffee makers over the years, as well as other brands. One of the things I've never liked is how difficult it is to clean them. This Mr Coffee is mostly dishwashable, since you can take it apart and put most of the pieces in the dishwasher for easy cleaning (just not the base with the electronics and cord).
This coffee maker also has a programmable timer, a reusable mesh coffee filter and a water filter (it comes with one filter cartridge, you have to purchase any future cartridges needed). It comes with a glass carafe and the burner stays on for 4 hours by default, though you can turn it off manually.
As with all coffee makers, it makes good coffee once you get used to how much coffee and water works for you, since they're all slightly different.

I've owned Linksys products, including routers, before and have always liked them. This router was very easy to set up, though it requires you have use the Linksys app on your smartphone. If you don't have a smartphone, I'm assuming you won't want to get this router. That said, the app made setup very quick and easy.
Speed is very good, much better than my old router. Though I was able to use my old router in bridge mode to use as an access point to make my wireless signal go further through the house.
Linksys makes "nodes" that are compatible with this router to spread around your house to make your signal stronger (good for large houses and/or multilevel houses).

Great compact waterproof & shockproof camcorder

Canon's waterproof camcorder is small but has 40x optical zoom, making it great for filming close and far. It comes in black or blue, I opted for the blue just because every other camcorder in the world is black.
Setup is easy, just flip open the viewscreen, which is a touchscreen, and adjust the settings the way you want. You can even adjust the sensitivity of the touchscreen. The camcorder comes with 8GB of built-in memory or you can add an SD card (not included). For power and transfers there are included mini USB cords/adapters.
Video quality is good, you can set it to record with or without sound. Being waterproof to 5 meters (just over 15 feet) is a great plus, I took mine paddleboarding and it definitely got wet from the wake put out by boats. It kept on working just fine, no problems.
It's quite small and lightweight, making it great for people on the go. The strap on the side of the camcorder makes it easy to use one-handed and you only have to press one button to start and stop recording. The zoom control is on top of the camcorder, making it easy to zoom in and out as necessary.

Logitech's G403 wired gaming mouse is very light, but you can also add a 10 gram weight to it if you want something with more heft. I tried it both ways and prefer it to be lighter, since I use it a lot.
The mouse has built-in memory, so if you program it for games and/or programs (with the G Hub software), you can use it with a different computer or a new computer without having to program it all over again.
In games and general use I found the mouse to be very responsive and accurate. Some mice (especially non-gaming mice) have very inaccurate pointers, so you're constantly clicking on things you don't want.
With the software (which you download from the Logitech website), you can program all the various mouse buttons, program game profiles and also the light scheme the mouse uses. The G logo on the mouse lights up and turns different colors, as does the mouse wheel.
Speaking of the mouse wheel, it's nice and wide, with little grooves to give your finger something to grab onto, rather than just a slick rubber wheel. Much better than the mouse I had previously.

Even though I have a laptop, I mostly use it as a desktop, hooking it up to a monitor, keyboard, mouse & external hard drive for backup. This dock has the latest Thunderbolt 3 tech, it has spots for 2 HDMI cables (up to 4K), a USB 3 port and a USB 2 port, and an Ethernet port. Another plus is it draws its power from the Thunderbolt 3 connector, no extra power cord required.
The dock itself is very solid, compared with some that feel plastic and cheap. The one drawback for me is that the cord going from the Thunderbolt 3 connector to the dock is only 7 inches long, pretty much meaning the dock will be on the desk next to or on top of your laptop. I usually like a longer cord, so I can put the dock on a shelf on my desk to connect all the other cords to it. As Thunderbolt 3 becomes more popular, I'm sure there will be extension cables.
Performance-wise, the dock does as advertised. Good connectivity, fast transfer speeds (assuming the hard drives and internet connection you have are speedy). A welcome addition to my desk.

First off, it does not come with the MicroSD card that it needs. I had a MicroSD card from another device, but it was not the right type of card, so I had to get a new one (about $20 or less).
I've never had a dashcam before, so it was interesting figuring this one out. It's pretty easy to set up, it comes with a power cable for your car (cigarette lighter type) and a couple of different types of connectors for mounting the cam on your windshield, either a sticker or a suction cup. I opted for the suction cup for now, so it's not permanent. Mounting it up by the rearview mirror seems to work well and keep it mostly out of sight.
I was able to download the software from the Nextbase website to view and manage videos on my computer (it comes with a USB cable to connect the cam to your computer), plus there are Apple and Android apps available for phones or tablets. You can connect to the cam with your phone via Bluetooth or Wifi, whichever is available.
With the computer or phone software, you can view and edit the videos and it shows you (because of the built-in GPS) the route you took, direction, speed, etc. Be warned, the cam also records sound inside the car.
The videos are good quality, especially given how small the cam is. The display screen on the back is pretty small, people with less-than-perfect vision may need glasses to go through the cam menus. Recording is pretty simple though, press the red button on the screen to start recording and press it again to stop.

I've had laptops (including Dell laptops) before, so I'm pretty familiar with their features. This one has a lot of great features in one fairly small package. First of all, I like that it has a backlit keyboard, which is very handy if you're using the computer in a dark or poorly-lit room. It also has a touchscreen, so you can skip using the touchpad for some things and just touch on the screen like you would with a tablet or phone.
Speaking of tablets, this laptop display will fold completely back onto the keyboard, so you can basically just have a tablet. You can't remove the keyboard, but it all fits together quite well.
The laptop also comes with a stylus, which you can use to write directly on the screen, with virtual post-its and other apps. Great if you like to draw (or have kids who like to draw) and you can send the writings/drawings on to friends/family. Another way to replace greeting cards but still keep it personal.
The laptop starts up very quickly, probably because of the SSD drive and lots of memory. The battery lasts quite a while, though because it's a small computer, they can't put as big a battery in it as some people would like. There's always a trade-off.
It has a webcam, micro-SD slot, HDMI port and three USB 3.1 ports. I always like to get a laptop with HDMI, that way when we travel we can usually just plug our laptop into hotel TV's to watch TV shows and movies we have stored on the laptop.
The power button also doubles as a fingerprint scanner, for added security. It's not something I would use, but it's a good feature if you're worried about people accessing your computer.
All in all, a great laptop.

My last HDMI pass-thru receiver got fried by lightning, so I needed a replacement. I prefer this type of receiver because you can hook up all your equipment to the receiver by HDMI, then only one HDMI cable goes to your TV. Switching between devices is just the press of a button, which is good since I usually have at least my DVR, Roku, Xbox and Blu-ray player all connected to the TV.
An HDMI cable and a digital coax audio cable come included with the receiver, as well as AM/FM antennas, in case you want to pick up radio.
The speaker part of the package includes 4 satellites (left & right front, left & right rear), a center channel speaker and a wired subwoofer. They include 100 feet of speaker wire, which was unexpected.
Setup was easy, especially since I previously had a similar receiver. The satellite speakers are quite a bit smaller than my previous speakers, which worried me at first, but they deliver good sound, as do the center & subwoofer. I've tried the speakers out with TV, music and video gaming, all of which sounded great.
The satellite and center speakers can be placed on a shelf/entertainment center or hang on the wall. Templates for marking where you want to install hardware on walls are included.

Large soundbar with great sound, 2 HDMI inputs

This is the second Samsung soundbar I have, this one is almost double the size of the other one. It's 4 feet wide, 5 1/2 inches deep and 3 inches tall. Make sure you have room for it in your entertainment center, or you can mount it on the wall (it comes with the hardware for that). Setup was easy and it came with one HDMI cable.
One of the main things I like is it has 2 HDMI inputs, as well as an optical port and Bluetooth connectivity. I usually have my DVR hooked up to one HDMI port and a streaming box hooked up to the other. My old soundbar only has one HDMI port, so I have to switch them out when I want to use the other device. I'm surprised so few soundbars have more than one HDMI port.
The sound is amazing, even at low volumes. The subwoofer kicks in when there's sound or music in it's range.
One thing I don't like is the remote. It's mostly okay, but the volume control is a single button which rocks forward and backward to adjust the volume. Or you can push down on it to mute the soundbar. Several times when trying to adjust the volume, I muted it accidentally. Luckily the remote for my other Samsung soundbar also works for this one and I like it better.

Inexpensive on-ear headphones, great for travel

For the amount of money they cost, these headphones are very good. They're light and fairly comfortable, though the bare plastic strap that goes over the top of your head could use some padding (I'm bald, so that's an issue for me).
Good sound quality, though I'm not an audiophile, so decent sound is relative. The cord is only 4 feet long, so if you want to connect to anything further away you'll need an audio cable extension. Perfect for your phone, tablet, laptop or audio device, as long as it has a standard 3.5mm audio connector.
It's got a microphone built into the cord, so if you're connected to your phone, when you answer the call via the microphone, it pauses your music. Nice feature.
The ear pieces (cups) fold flat, which is why I saw these are perfect for traveling. Once folded, they will fit fine in a suitcase, backpack, gymbag, etc.
