Exactly what I needed to charge my drones faster!
on October 10, 2023
Posted by: Cupra
This Insignia 30W foldable USB C wall charger is exactly what I needed to really boost the charging speed for the batteries in my drones, and their controllers. Using this USB C charger has considerably increased the speed at which they charge and reduced the charging time immensely.
It is nice and ergonomically designed, it has a clear shell over a white base and then a silver looking plate on the front with the USB C port. On the back side, you have a two pin connection that folds away. That makes it really portable, I am able to put it inside the case for my drones and not worry about it scratching them up at all.
This is not dedicated to drones in any way, you can charge phones, tablets, laptops etc with it, but my primary goal was portability for when I am out and about, and a fast charging speed, which this compact wall charger meets and exceeds. It also has constant temperature monitoring built in, and adjusts accordingly to protect your device from overheating while charging. A definite plus there.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this charger and will more than likely be purchasing another couple as back up, as we all know how these like to grow legs and go missing, especially with kids around!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Extremely portable and compact 2TB external SSD
on August 30, 2023
Posted by: Cupra
The Crucial X9 Pro 2TB external SSD has an incredibly small footprint, measuring only 2.5" x 2" x 3/8". That makes it incredibly portable and one of the most versatile drives that I have used. I have many drives 2T, 3T and 5T drives, hooked up to a variety of products, but they all take up space and while yes, they are portable, don't even hold a candle to this drive.
The case is aluminum and another key feature here is that the bottom of the drive has a rubber coating on it, so it doesn't move around. My other drives moves around a lot, so this is also a great design by Crucial. If you are worried about misplacing this drive due to its size in the top right hand corner of the aluminum case, there is a cut out/hole for a keyring, so you can have it conveniently with you - and the aluminum case will protect it.
The included USB cable is really short, but that doesn't concern me too much. Hooking it to the back of my Mac, it rests nicely on the aluminum stand on the computer and sits just fine. Being so small and lightweight makes it really unobtrusive whether you are using a desktop of a laptop.
Plugging in the Crucial X9 Pro to my Mac, I had a challenge - it didn't register right away. I had to unplug and reconnect a couple of times, and still nothing. I checked it out on another Mac I have, and still nothing, it wouldn't show up in the Finder. I then realized I was using a cable that I had attached to my Mac previously, and NOT the cable that came with the X9 Pro - so evidently it is imperative that you use the cable included. Once I realized that error, the drive showed up in the Finder without an issue. When connected, there is a white light that illuminates in the previously mentioned key ring attachment area.
I went into Disk Utilities and set up the drive as I normally would and then set about transferring about 10GB of video files from a recent video shoot for my YouTube channel. With read/write speed so 1050MBPS, the transfer was done pretty quickly, and I didn't see any loss of data when reviewing the video clips. Another feature of the SSDs are no moving parts, nothing mechanical that can break, which also benefits the size, but also the longevity of the drive as well.
Overall I couldn't be happier with the X9 Pro, it's size is superb, data transfer speeds are great, no data loss and a great form factor. This drive is going to be my go to, when out and about recording videos, and needing more storage on the fly.

Another evolution to the Amazon Echo Show line up!
on August 16, 2023
Posted by: Cupra
I've been using the Alexa and Amazon Echo ecosystem for many years now. I've been through frustrations, I've been through excitement when the first Echo Shows first arrived. So what does the new, 3rd Generation Echo Show 5 have to offer?
First off, the design, it's a more 'triangular' shape when looking down from above. It has slightly larger rubber buttons on top that are integrated into the housing, rather than the plastic buttons and frame on the earlier versions. There is still the camera cover slider available for your privacy as well. It is slightly smaller overall than the previous generation when looking at it face on. We wanted a sleeker, less obtrusive version for our dining room. We had previously been using a first generation 'puck' in there for years now, and wanted a little more information displayed on the screen, while being able to blend it into the background. Choosing a dark wood finish on the screen definitely helped with that in our 'Steampunk' inspired room.
The triangular shape helps with the improved sound, a slightly larger speaker inside offers nicer, cleaner sound, with a little more bass at higher volumes that previously possible. The operation of the whole product is faster. Quicker to load from first power up, it feels more responsive to touch, sometimes a little too responsive when trying to scroll through the menus when setting it up at first.
We turned the camera off, and via a the menus, turn off most of the unwanted options and main ads that we didn't want. There are still a few suggestions that are pushed to you when it is 'awake' but if you don't walk past it and activate it, you can see your background and the time nice and clearly from across the room.
We don't have any intention of watching video or content like that from the screen in our dining room, but we do play music, we check our notifications, our weather alerts etc, and this is absolutely perfect for that.
Very simple to set up, especially if you are already an Alexa user, but even for a first timer, you are walked through the set up process and you can skip steps if you are unsure or unfamiliar, like the Amazon Sidewalk program that is a shared network that can help you set up the device quicker, help you find lost items and more. It's free but you can choose if you want to opt into the program or not. We chose not to. You can also set up this Echo 5 to be kid friendly as well, which means it will only show kid appropriate content on the screen and disable some functions.
Overall a nice addition or upgrade to the Amazon Echo Show ecosystem, whether you are a big fan and deep into smart operation of products/lights/switches etc, or if this is your first Amazon Echo product with a screen. You won't be disappointed.

Elite for a reason. The XR PRO was designed for the inner-city commutes. Foldable in one step, take it on the bus, the train or in a taxi if you need to make a bit longer of a commute. Weighing less than 32lbs means carrying is no issue when stairs or other obstructions get in the way.

Fast scooter, but having brake issues.
on August 10, 2023
Posted by: Cupra
The GoTrax Xr PRO Electric Scooter is a folding commuter scooter. Now, don't be fooled, this scooter is really big. And it's pretty heavy, so you won't want to be carrying it around very far. But as a mode of transport between the train station and the office, it's great.
To start with, you get the scooter, a valve to air up the tires (but no pump) and a charging brick. Open the waterproof plug and insert the charger. It takes about 6 hours to charge up the scooter fully, which offers a range of 18 miles and top speed of 18mph.
It has IPX5 water resistance, so you can ride it in the rain, but you should dry it off at your destination. It has a 350W motor, which was able to power up the 7º incline of my driveway without issue, whereas our previous scooter (different brand) could not achieve that - so the motor is plenty powerful.
Acceleration is brisk, it pulls you along (max weight performance is 264lbs) and doesn't falter until it hits the top speed of 18mph. I've tried powering past, going downhill and haven't seen more than the advertised 18mph.
With that speed, you have to be able to stop, and that is where the challenge comes in, and the reason for losing the star. I have very little confidence in the brakes at this point. The brake cable was too short to mount per the instructions, it would not reach, no matter how many of us pulled on it to insert it into the mounting bracket. I finally worked out a way to get the brake cable in there and take it for a test ride.
The brakes make all kinds of noise, sometimes as if they are permanently engaged, sometimes they squeak, sometimes they rub, sometimes they make no noise at all. One time they made a horrific sound as I was braking, which was very unnerving. I will have to look and see if there is any adjustments to be made to them, but at this time, I am not entrusting my life to these brakes, put it that way. You should be diligent when riding a scooter like this, but I will be taking extra precautions. I also feel like the folding mechanism leaves the handlebar a little loose at the base. There is some forward and backwards movement, which I didn't experience with my other scooter.
The headlight is really bright (bear in mind you cannot turn on the scooter when it is plugged into the wall). It has a flashing brake light and a color display. A nice feature is that this scooter has a display of the amount of miles you've travelled on it, just like a vehicle. You have two power modes, an eco mode and a power mode. That unlocks the 18mph top speed. It also has cruise control, if you maintain a certain speed for 10 seconds, it will put itself into cruise control.
You have 18 miles of range, which should be plenty of range to get from a station to your work, or for just having fun out with friends.
Overall, this is a fun, folding scooter, it is fast, but bear in mind that it is heavy, and that there are potential challenges with the braking system.

Incredible range, superb bass response!

Sony hit is out of the park again with the WF-C700N Wireless Noise Canceling Ear Buds!
I've been a life-long fan of Sony products, and here they continue to deliver on that tradition. They have been known for their 'Mega Bass' for years, and these small ear buds deliver a huge punch for the size. Opening the eco-friendly packaging, no plastics, but recycled cardboard throughout, you get a minimalist design for these ear buds. A charging cord, instructions and a couple of different sized ear tips are all that are in the package.
There is one multifunction button on each side and you do have to read the instructions and memorize the number of presses to control the ear buds. Initially, setting them up was a little bit of a challenge. Holding down the buttons looking for the bluetooth lights, I didn't get any, like you would when normally pairing bluetooth products.
Instead, you need to download the Sony Headphones app, which makes pairing and controlling them so much easier. Once downloaded, you can pair the headphones fairly easily - I say this because it still took two attempts for them to be fully recognized. This is my reason for docking one star in the review, as the initial out of the box experience wasn't straightforward like other bluetooth products I've used/paired with - they weren't intuitive.
HOWEVER - once paired, the experience gets exponentially better. You have complete control over how the ear buds sound. You are taken through a listening experience in the app, where you are given options of what you are listening to, to absolutely fine tune the listening experience. You don't just have a 3 stage equalizer (bass, mid, high), it's 5 stages, but guides you through, playing music, and offering deep preference options. I was really impressed with that.
Pressing the buttons on the ear buds gives you control over the volume, track playing, play, pause, and also the active noise canceling. You can enhance the sounds around you, so that you can still be aware of your surroundings, or you can 'cancel' them out and become fully immersed in your music. And talking of that, the bass that these tiny ear buds puts out is stellar. Very impressed that something so small can produce this amount of bass. Very impressive.
They also have the ability to adapt the noise canceling functionality on the go. So for example, if you are sitting at your desk, you can have the noise canceling active, but when you stand up and move around, it activates the heightened listening, so that you can still hear your music but be aware of your surroundings. Go back to your desk and they revert to full noise canceling again. Great feature you never knew you needed, but so valuable.
And range while walking around, is so impressive! I have a 4000sqft house, my office is in the middle of the house. I was able to walk upstairs and downstairs without any loss of signal from my phone, where other headphones I use would have dropped signal. I was really impressed with the distance I could walk away from my phone, with solid connectivity at all times!
Overall - apart from the pairing issue at the very beginning, and not knowing if they were powered on or not (no lights or indicators on the ear buds), they have been an incredible set of ear buds and will become my go-to set to use daily.
And talking of that - you can pair to more than one product (up to two) with this. So you can have them connected to your computer AND your phone at the same time, and they will select between the two as you receive phone calls or as you work.
I have no hesitation in recommending these ear buds. Great product!

Another All-In-One Hit from DELL!
on July 6, 2023
Posted by: Cupra
This is not the first Dell Inspiron 27" Touch screen All-In-One desktop I've owned, and I am sure it won't be the last either. The form factor of these machines means that you don't have wires running all over the place, they aren't cumbersome, and with wireless mouse and keyboard, keep your desktop completely uncluttered.
Now I totally get that desktop machines like this aren't for everyone, they serve a purpose. And that purpose is to offer great functionality, in a convenient form factor. If you are purchasing a machine like this, you're wanting a dependable, reliable machine that just works. This is my 3rd generation of these machines, and I enjoy the convenience and the performance they provide.
This latest version ships with Windows 11, has a 27" full HD LED backlit 1920x1080 touchscreen making menu navigation incredibly easy. You can also use this screen as a second display if you want to, or a display on it's own (like a TV) with it's HDMI in/out port. This makes it a versatile proposition as well. The bezel is nice and thin, like new TVs, so it's familiar as well. There's a pop up video camera on top, that also serves as face recognition to get into the computer if you don't want to have to type in your passcode each time.
Powering this machine is the 13th Generation Core i& Processor which enhances the performance of this compact PC, allowing you to do more at one time. You can enjoy streaming in 8K, it has the power to run Creative Cloud without hesitation, and can help you run your day to day programs with ease.
Of course, my son was only interested in what it was like when playing video games. We fired up Asphalt 9: Legends from the Xbox Game Hub. It loaded and ran so quickly and smoothly, without any glitching or issues. The sound was great from the small speakers at the bottom of the monitor, with a decent amount of bass and a nice, wide sound field.
With 16GB of RAM, you have plenty of power for graphics-heavy gaming, for video editing - I have a youtube channel that I am constantly editing videos for, and also helps maintain multiple programs and web browser tabs to be open at one time. However, being an all in one unit, upgrading may be a challenge down the line. That is a sacrifice you make when choosing a computer like this.
It ships with a 1TB solid state drive, which I have found for my use, and the frequency that I update my machines, to be absolutely fine for what I need and use it for. I store my videos on external back up drives anyways, but this is absolutely fine for my video editing purposes. Being an SSD, there are no moving parts, meaning you get faster access to your data with fast start up time, no noise at all, and less heat produced as well.
There's a USB-C port on the right side, that you can plug in and charge your phone conveniently, without having to reach round the back of the computer. However, if the back of the computer is exposed, if you have an open desk, it's form factors is nicely sculpted on the back, so that it looks nice as you walk up to it from all angles. There is also a 5 in 1 card reader in the back that supports SD and MMC memory cards.
The NVIDIA GeForce MX550 Graphics card has 2GB of dedicated memory on board to help facilitate quick rendering for video games and graphics, meaning you get a smooth gaming experience with no flickering or frame drop.
This PC also features flexible dual-band wifi thanks to the Intel WiFi 6E Wireless AX with two data streams and two antennas. This means that you can connect to your wifi router and experience fast streaming and greater connectivity. I have a GigaPower network and have no issues with download and upload speeds.
The one thing that I have to ding, is no matter how advanced the all-in-one PCs become from Dell, with nicer and nicer form factors, greater functionality, more features and better processing power, they always, without fail (as I've mentioned this is my 3rd one of these) come with what look to be the cheapest and most rudimentary mouse and keyboard on the market! They have no style, simply look cheap, and don't match the style and form of the all-in-one PC itself. And being as they spend as much time on the desktop as the PC itself, you would have though some more design would have gone into them. It's almost like they are an afterthought, and had to be hastily added to complete the combo. And it's not just this one, but each of the machines I've had before have had an almost identical set up, keyboard and mouse wise. They are both functional, the work as you would expect a wireless mouse and keyboard to work after inserting the dongle in the back, but they are just lacking the same design and quality feel of them main PC.
Other than that, this is a great all-in-one machine that is perfect for what I need to use it for, powerful, fast, sleek and unobtrusive. Another home run from Dell (apart from the keyboard and mouse that is)!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Strong competitor, needs an extra battery!
on June 13, 2023
Posted by: Cupra
The Greenworks 21" Self-Propelled BATTERY OPERATED Lawn Mower is a competitive mower in the battery operated mower market. A couple of my neighbors have converted from their 'red' gas mowers to these more environmentally friendly, green (literally) battery operated mowers. I've been intrigued, but wasn't convinced. My opinions have definitely been swayed.
Right out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the mower deck is actually metal, and NOT plastic like my neighbors. This was off to a good start. Set up was easy enough, unfold the handle, add two nuts and bolts to secure it in place and insert the battery and you are good to go.
When checking the battery, I charged it up to 4 bars, but the charger was still flashing. DO NOT REMOVE THE BATTERY YET. Let the charger go through it's full cycle and turn off, only then will you have a full battery. In the state I put it in the mower, seemingly with a full 4 bars, it actually wasn't fully charged. So - when taking the mower out on it's maiden voyage, my fear of range anxiety kicked in, when I was left stranded in my back yard with a 20' x 15' area still unmowed.
I got about 30 mins of mow time out of the battery life, but that was user error, as it wasn't fully charged as I thought it was. And, on this first mow, as you can see, the grass was quite long, so the variable cutting speed that this mower has was working overtime. As you move forward and the mower notices that the grass is thicker, it kicks up the blade spin speed so as to not have the mower bog down. A really nice feature that I've never had on a gas mower. I had purposely let the grass grow long while waiting for the mower to arrive, to make sure it got a good test.
During this first mow I did have to learn a few things. First off, starting the mower. Being used to a pull cord on the gas mower, I figured pressing the power button would make this one work. Nope. You have to hold the handle, and press and hold the power button. A safety feature obviously, but wasn't intuitive to start with. But got it worked out. The second idiosyncrasy was that when you are using the self-propelled mode, you have to release the handle in plenty of time before you want to pull the mower back. I found that the drive wheels kept getting bound up and didn't release the gear before I had pulled back, meaning I was pulling static wheels back instead of freewheeling. Once I had worked that out, it made it a lot easier. Also works when you are mowing rows and need to turn on a radius, you need to let go of the lever in plenty of time, otherwise the wheels remain bound to the motor.
Aside from the mishap of the battery life and my initial range anxiety, the mower performed very well indeed, cutting very uniformly over my whole yard. I need to work on the height adjustment for the wheels, it's a little low for my lawn on the first pass, I did get a couple of scalped patches, but otherwise a nice, smooth, clean cut.
The mower has a side attachment for mulching, and a bag for collecting the clippings, or if your grass isn't very tall, you can just mulch with no attachment.
On my second mow, I made sure the battery was fully charged, made sure there were 4 full bars on the LED readout on the battery pack and inserted it into the mower. I was able to mow my yard, one week after the first cut, on a full battery with a little life to spare. From my previous range anxiety, I mowed quicker (the self-propelled feature has a variable speed to it, from 'tortoise to hare'). Tortoise is incredibly slow, hare, well, you're going to get a workout! I set it in the middle and went for it. With the shorter grass this time, and the full battery, and a slightly brisker pace, I was able to mow my yard pretty much in the same fashion as I did with my gas mower. An extra battery would alleviate range anxiety completely for my size of suburban yard, so I can see me purchasing another battery in the future, or another tool that comes with a battery the same size.
The battery is a 4.0Ah battery and comes with a rapid charger. It offered a 60 min recharge time with a 40 min run time. So two batteries would be plenty for my yard as it's normally a 50 min job with a gas mower, taking the time I want to, rather than rushing to finish before the battery depletes.
To put it into perspective, on a flat surface with relatively short grass, the mower with cut over 1/5 acre on a single full charge.
Another feature this mower has that my gas mower doesn't is the ability to store it vertically with saves a lot of space in the garage. That coupled with no spark plug and no oil make it pretty much maintenance free apart from keeping it clean.
Height adjustment was a pain on my gas mower, with a lever on each wheel. This mower has a 7-position single lever heigh adjuster which changes the height of all 4 wheels at the same time. That is a really nice feature to have.
The 1.8kW power is the equivalent to a 150cc gas mower and it has a blade tip speed between 2800 and 3200 rpm, depending on when the SmartCut technology senses the tougher grass. This helps make the cut so nice and even.
This mower may have just converted me to battery power. I have only used it twice so far, and the first time as mentioned wasn't perfect, but the second time I was a lot happier with the results. I need to fine tune the cutting height, and potentially purchase an additional battery (or tool with the same battery) and I may be a convert.
Overall, I am impressed with the technology in the mower, and the features - another one I haven't mentioned yet are the 4 LED lights along the front, which enables you to mow later into the evening. My gas mower doesn't have lights, and I am not sure I've seen a gas mower with lights.
If you are considering a foray into the world of battery powered mowers, then this Greenworks 21" Self-propelled Mower is definitely a good place to look.

Another powerful bluetooth speaker from Sony!
on June 8, 2023
Posted by: Cupra
Personally, I think Sony has cornered the market with this style of bluetooth speaker. The SRS-XV800 is another in a line of great portable party bluetooth speakers.
First of all, the build quality of these speakers has gotten better with each generation, with Sony listening to feedback from previous products. This new XV-800 now has wheels on the bottom to help move it around, a really nice addition to the speaker. With the battery in there that offers up to 25 hours of playback, it makes these units heavy, so having the wheels is a great asset.
Talking of the battery, it really helps the speaker pack a punch! The sound from this speaker, from the start up and connection chimes, to the quality of the sound that it emits is superb. At regular listening volumes, the bass is warm, punchy and enveloping and that feeling continues all the way up to about 75% volume. At that point is when the bass tails off and you are overtaken by mids and highs. Understandable, as that is to limit distortion at higher volumes. The Omni-Directional Party Sound is enhanced via two tweeters on the back side of the speaker, throwing the sound up and around, while the main source fires the music forwards.
You can rotate the speaker 90º and lay it on its side. There is a third tweeter incorporated in the base of the speaker so that when it is on it's side, you still have two tweeters in the upper most position of the speaker. You can audibly hear when the speaker changes configuration from upright to side projection, so you know you are getting the optimum sound from it.
A staple in the Sony speaker line up, which has been there since I was a kid is the 'MEGA BASS' option, which is both fantastic and weird at the same time. Fantastic because it always enhances the listening experience, and weird, because I don't believe I've ever turned it off when using these speakers, so does it really need to be there!?! However, the answer is 'YES' because it is something synonymous with Sony! I'd be sad if it wasn't there!
The speaker also has integrated LED lights that you can control using the Sony Music Center App. When you connect the speaker to that app, you have a variety of options to control, such as the sound quality/levels including the preset mega bass and live settings, along with a configurable equalizer. You can also control power options to conserve consumption, the illumination state, from presets, to a wide range of options, and then delving deeper with the Fiestable App, you can customize the colors further.
And finally in the app you can manage the bluetooth connected devices and the system software.
Out in the wild, the XV-800 is a water 'resistant' (not proof) speaker, even with it's rubber panel covering the important connections on the back. So don't go spilling a beer over it at that party, or try and float it in the pool. But if you splash it as you get out of the pool or knock over that beer beside it, you'll be just fine!
Overall I am incredibly impressed with this speaker, and being an owner of previous generations of this style speaker, in the Sony Music Center App, you can actually connect them together to create a stereo sound scape - now that's pretty cool if you have more than one of these speakers! There are two modes actually when you connect them, one is Stereo Pairing, and the other is Party Mode which enables the same quality of sound out of each speaker, connected in a chain.
Absolutely love this speaker and will be great on camping and beach trips! Highly recommend!

Nice vacuum, but missing some features.

The LG CordZero A9 Compressor Cordless Stick Vacuum is an impressive looking product as you pull it out of the box. It doesn't look much like anything else out there in the market in the vacuuming space. Set up was pretty easy, out of the box, the main tower is all put together, you just need to assemble the vacuum cleaner and place the accessories into the tower. It even comes with a vacuum bag pre installed in the tower.
The LG CordZero comes with two batteries, they are bright yellow and don't aesthetically go that well with the vacuum, but they are also very small. That is a concern for battery life. LG claims up to 120 mins run time (60 mins per battery), but in my experience, I felt that I needed to press the 'TURBO' button to get suction that is comparable with my current cordless stick vacuum. To that end, I found that the battery drained quite a lot quicker.
I have a 4000sqft home and it was a struggle for the vacuum to be able to run over the course of a single battery for a full home clean (one hour of power), on a variety of hard wood and carpeted areas. My current stick vacuum runs 45 mins and keeps power for the whole home.
And talking of transitions, at this price point, I would expect some features, like floor sensing, so that the vacuum knows if it is on hardwood or carpet, and adjust suction automatically, but instead, you have + and - buttons on the handle to turn on or off 'TURBO' mode, so you have to do that manually as you transition between floor types. I know, I know, first world problems, but that is a feature I am used to on my current stick vac.
Another feature that would be nice to see at this level are LEDs integrated into the cleaning head, for when you are vacuuming under chairs, tables etc.
Something that sets this vacuum apart tho, is the A9 Kompressor feature which has a lever that allows you to compress the dust and dirt in the chamber to increase vacuuming volume without having to go back to the tower. Another nice feature is it's wifi connectivity that allows you to monitor the vacuums status and it sends you a notification when the battery is fully charged. That is definitely a nice feature.
The tower is nicely designed, it's sleek and minimalistic. You can open it up - the instructional literature shows the doors opening a full 90 degrees, but the doors on ours do not open up that far, which actually impeded trying to mount a couple of accessories in the storage area, especially the pet head roller.
You can set the tower to automatically empty the vacuum when you place the vacuum back in the cradle. It is a little too musical before it empties the vacuum, there are a lot of sounds and tunes that play, but it does a great job of emptying the vacuum, something that my current stick vacuum does not do. The emptying process is quite loud, but it doesn't last long. As I mentioned, there is a bag inside the tower that will need to be emptied from time to time. Thankfully there are several filtration methods on the vacuum, so odors shouldn't be an issue with the dirt and dust sitting in the tower.
The tower not only charges the vacuum battery, but also the spare battery at the same time, so you have instant access to more power should you need it.
As for the stick vacuum itself, it is very compact, lightweight, but there are a couple of things I would change. The vacuum head is really quite small, I am used to a larger cleaning head, so it takes less passes to clean an area. This is important with large open areas of hard wood floors or carpet. The length of the vacuum hose has to be opened up every single time I use the vacuum, it is far too short for me, as you pull it off of the tower. And being as you have to do this every single time you use it, I am concerned about the longevity of the mechanism. And there is a protrusion which is supposed to be a finger rest/grip, but for me, it is a little obtrusive for any length of time.
Overall, this is a solid machine, with some great innovation, but I feel it's also lacking some features that would make it truly great. This vacuum will become the 'upstairs' vacuum in my home, as a convenient alternative to taking my current stick vacuum with me around the home.
It's a nice piece of design, convenient and does have some great features. It is not a bad vacuum at all, and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Full Featured, Curved Gaming Monitor!
on May 30, 2023

The HP OMEN 34c QHD Curved Gaming Monitor is the first curved gaming monitor I've used, and it really is a game changer, far more than I ever expected. I always thought they were some sort of gimmick.
First of all, out of the box, you have everything that you need to get set up. The power cord and a display port to display port cabe are included. Putting the monitor together is really easy, lay it down, slide the decorative panel over the arm of the mount, clip the arm in place, clip in the decorative cover and then attach the base. A simple screw with a little handle on it, rotate it and the base is solid.
You have control over the height and angle forward or backwards, but not left to right, you actually have to move the base to move it left or right, there is no swivel in that direction.
Turning on the monitor, it automatically looks for an input, initially with a large 'OMEN' on the screen, and then looks for a source. Talking of branding, you don't see the HP logo on the front of the monitor at all. In fact looking over it, you don't initially see a HP logo at all, it is branded 'OMEN'.
I was really impressed with the picture quality from this morning right out the gate, but after using the controls on the right hand side on the back of the monitor, I was able to dial in the color to my liking. Connecting to your preferred source, you have two HDMI connections and a Display Port connection, and also a headphone jack on the underside of the monitor. Once connected, there is a little 'U-shaped' piece of plastic that clips into the stand for cable management purposes.
Diving in to Grand Theft Auto right away, I was really impressed with all of the detail and clarity from the monitor. I felt like I was seeing more details that I have previously, and I've been gaming on a 100" projector for the past 7 years. The quality and detail on this 34" widescreen monitor were fantastic! The HDR from the 3440x1440 WQHD (Wide Quad High Definition) display really shines, and the fast 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time means that you have uninterrupted motion while gaming.
Multiplayer in Call of Duty, I had no lag at all, especially compared to my previously mentioned projector, making the gaming experience a lot more engaging. And the curved screen made it even more immersive as well. There are integrated speakers in the monitor, but they are nothing to write home about, but you will more than likely have a decent headset on so that you can chat with your mates online, so it isn't much of an issue at all.
In the week or so that I've had this HP OMEN Curved Gaming Monitor, I have been thoroughly impressed with is vibrance, color range and immersive experience. I can't find fault with the monitor at all and would highly recommend this to friends and family. Love it!

Philips 3200 Series Fully Automatic Espresso Machine w/ LatteGo, Black

Can it do cold drinks as well as hot? And what is the maximum volume it can brew? Can it brew a whole pot of coffee?

No, this machine does not do cold drinks. It has 5 pre-set coffee settings, and a hot water setting. It brews single cups at a time, so won't brew a whole pot at one time.

Yes, they are in stereo. They also have Bose AR, augmented audio, surrounding your head with directional sound. They sound really good for a product like this. Not as good as in-ear headphones, but they do have a surprisingly good sound.

Whether you desire a warm natural glow or energizing color tones, customize it just the way you like with the accompanying app. For parties, easily sync your lights to music with this Philips Hue white ambiance A19 starter kit.

Yes you can. Using the app, you are able to control them from anywhere in the world. And I have done! While on vacation to the UK, from the US, I would monitor my house through my video cameras and then adjust the schedules of my lights, randomizing them and checking them from almost 5000 miles away. Worked really well.
