Does an amazing job cleaning the floors!

As soon as I saw the Tineco S3 I knew I had to have it. We have hard floors in all the main rooms of our house and we have two beautiful but somewhat messy dogs. During the late Fall and Winter months I’m constantly battling mud carried in on the dogs paws. We also make full use of our kitchen, and with cooking comes the occasional spill. I don’t know if this is the first of its kind on the market or not but it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a vacuum anything like this and I knew it would fit my needs perfectly.
The Tineco S3 vacuum comes well packaged in a sturdy box and includes an easy to follow quick start guide. Also included is a charging stand, deodorizing & cleaning solution, a second brush roller and a three-in-one cleaning tool. The unit was very easy to assemble, just click the handle into the main unit and the vacuum is assembled! Once you find a location for the charging base you will need to let the unit charge for about four hours before you use it. While the vacuum is charging I recommend reviewing the instruction manual to familiarize yourself with the safety, operation and maintenance instructions.
The first thing I noticed about this vacuum is how sleek it looks. Tineco came up with an elegant and efficient, easy to use design! The water tanks are easy to remove and insert, the unit can stand up by itself when not in use, the handle is comfortable and the digital display is bright and easy to read. The display provides a lot of information and the layout is intuitive and easy to learn to read. The second thing I noticed is how deceivingly lightweight it is, while still feeling sturdy and well built.
Using the vacuum is really fun and simple. To get started, fill the clean water tank and add the cleaning solution. Once the clean water tank is in place press the power button and the vacuum will start in “auto” mode. Auto mode uses tech to detect how dirty the floor is and applies the appropriate amount of solution and suction power. You can switch to “max” mode by pressing the “AUTO|MAX” button. If you decide not to use cleaning detergent, be sure to long press the “AUTO|MAX” button for 3 seconds after starting the vacuum. This lets the vacuum know you are using only water. The vacuum has done an amazing job on my floors. The mud and dirt on the basement floors came right up and have never looked better. Spills get sucked right up and don’t get spread around at all. The vacuum isn’t loud and is very easy to maneuver, although you cannot tilt it back further than 142 degrees, to avoid leakage.
Once you are finished cleaning the floors you need to spend a little time cleaning the vacuum. You do need to clean it completely after each use, but Tineco has done as much as they can to make this a simple process. Cleanup time has taken me an average of fifteen minutes but I do a pretty thorough job and I’m getting quicker each time. The auto cleaning mode is nice but you do have to fill and empty the tanks as it completes its cycle.
Overall I’m very happy that I got the Tineco S3. It’s an extremely well designed, top of the line, hard floor cleaning vacuum with some great technology built into it. Although there is a bit of cleanup after each use, I think it’s well worth the time for those days when you clean every floor in your house. For a minor spill here and there, I think I’ll continue to use some paper towels and bottle cleansers.

Immersive game play!

The Dell S2721HGF curved gaming monitor comes very well packaged in a large sturdy box. Included is a HDMI cable, power cord, stand and a quick start sheet.
The monitor was very easy to set up, just connect the base to the stand and stand to monitor. Connect it to your computer, plug it in and you are ready to go.
The stand is very well designed. It tilts in and I love the ability to glide it effortlessly up and down when needed. Even though this is a large monitor and stand I appreciate that it only weighs nine pounds, making it easy to move around from one area to another fairly easily.
The display is extraordinarily immersive with the screen curving in about 1” in the middle. This is the first time I’ve used a curved screen monitor and it really does make a difference. The game feels more immersive and I feel like I see the whole screen much better. I’ve used this monitor for other non-gaming tasks as well. Movies look amazing and working on a huge spreadsheet is much easier when using a curved screen that enhances field of vision and reduces distortion, glare and reflection. Almost all the settings on this monitor are customizable and adjustable including the brightness, and it can get very bright! The VA/LED panel with a 3000:1 contrast ratio provides amazingly deep and almost 3D like contrast with deeper blacks, brighter whites and more shades between. This monitor has NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible certification and AMD FreeSync premium technology which noticeably reduces distortions like screen tearing, stutters and lag for fluid gameplay and a detailed image.
I’m extremely happy that I got this curved gaming monitor and highly recommend it to any gamer looking to take another step into the game.

More options for meals with less time!

I was excited to get this Crock-Pot pressure cooker and slow cooker, it is the first all-in-one cooker with an air fryer that I’ve owned. I love that it is Crock-Pot brand. I own an older traditional Crock-Pot slow cooker that has lasted and worked well for many years, so I know they build products to last.
The cooker came very securely packaged in a large box. The box dimensions are approximately 23” x 19” x 16.5”. Along with the special crisping lid, this cooker comes with a reversible cooking rack, a crisping lid cooling rack and a plastic spoon. Also included is a 48 page Owner’s Manual booklet and a 39 page recipe booklet with a quick start guide.
I was impressed by the size of this cooker, you can cook a large enough meal to feed a family and more! But it’s not too big to use for a small meal for two, which is my family size. I like the larger size and being able to cook whole large poultry, roast cuts, brisket and other large cuts of meat. That being said, be sure you have enough counter and storage space for this cooker. Even if you plan to keep it on the counter full-time, there is an additional lid that requires storage. The design is innovative with the secondary air fryer lid, conveniently connecting to the handles of the unit. It’s very easy to put on and to remove when you need to check your food while it’s cooking, just take the lid off, check your food or turn it, put the lid back on and press start, it’s that easy! The pressure cooker lid fits well, glides smoothly and locks as intended.
The control panel on the Crock-Pot Express Crock has an intuitive layout and easy to read text. There are many pre set options to choose from or you can customize your cooking by selecting your own temperature and pressure to fit the recipe you are preparing. You also have the option to set a delay timer.
I’ve cooked four meals and heated up a frozen appetizer with this cooker so far. Everything was easy to cook and cleanup was super easy since the pot is teflon coated and nothing seems to stick to the wire rack yet. The roast I cooked was amazing!! I’ve never cooked a more tender and juicy roast in my life, and I cook a lot of roast, lol. The meat fell apart so easily but was still moist and full of flavor. I can say the same for the whole chicken, and bonus crispy skin! Oh yeah, it was perfectly seasoned and perfectly crisped, I loved it! I cooked the parmesan-crusted chicken nuggets featured on page 11 of the recipe booklet, which is cooked only using the air crisper. They turned out okay and were healthier than most chicken nuggets I’ve eaten. I think next time I’m going to brush them with oil before air-frying to see if they brown more evenly and taste a little better. The recipe booklet includes some dessert recipes. There is a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake recipe that I will make this weekend. I had to order an 8-inch cake pan that can fit in the crock pot, but I’m excited to see how it turns out.
I’m really happy that I got this programmable pressure cooker by Crock-Pot. I’ve had so much fun cooking with it so far and know that I will get lots of use out of it for many years to come. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to shed some cooking time while having a lot more options when trying to decide what to cook for dinner.

The best thing to happen to sunglasses!
on September 7, 2020

The Bose Tempo Frames came very well packaged with a carrying case, charging cord and easy to follow quick start instructions. The case is really nice. It's a semi-hard, soft textured, fabric lined case with a pouch for the charging cord.
The Frames came with three nose guard size options, which are comfortable and easy to switch out. The Frames have been great to wear when jogging and biking. I haven’t had any problem with them sliding around while working out. Even doing yard work in the hot sun, covered in sweat, these stay put well. They also seem to handle the sweat really well. I feel like the frames almost wrap behind my head a bit more than your average sunglasses which definitely adds to their stability while moving.
There is a single button on the underside of the right side arm that controls all music and call related operations. One click turns the device on and pairs automatically if previously set up. Once the glasses are on, another single click will start music playing. While music is playing a single press will pause the music, two clicks will skip forward and three clicks will backtrack to your previous song. While music is playing and you receive a call one click will answer the call and one click will end it.
On the outside of the right arm of the frames there is slide-touch volume control. Slide forward to increase volume and slide back to reduce. The way they designed the volume control is super easy to use and I have to admit that it looks pretty cool controlling them. So far I’ve used these while mowing, bike riding and jogging. Since these are not in-ear headphones they don’t work well in a loud environment. I attempted to wear them while mowing the lawn but even with the volume on maximum, the music was unrecognizable. While riding my bike they were AWESOME! Even at a low volume I could easily hear my music and the traffic around me. For safety reasons I choose not to use headphones while biking, so that I am fully aware of my surroundings, and these have given me the option to safely enjoy music, at a low volume, while riding my bike.
The sound quality of Bose Tempo Frames is great! Crisp, clean and can get pretty loud when there isn’t too much outside noise interference. I will say I’d like to feel a bit more bass in them but for the size of the speaker the bass is decent.
The tinting level is great and the sun blocking ability of the glasses work well without being too dark. The UV rating is UV 400 cut. The shape and design of the frames look great but are a little larger than normal sunglasses. Behind the upper right and left sides of the lenses the frame creates a slight obstruction in your view. Minor but noticeable.
The “BOSE music” app is super easy to use and walks you through the setup of your new device quickly. It is supported on both iOS and Android.
The battery life on the Frames is impressive. Over the past four days I’ve done yard work for at least an hour every morning and at least an hour of bike riding in the afternoons and I’ve just now decided to charge them. After 1 hour of charging you can stream for up to 8 hours before losing charge. After a quick 30 minute charge you can get a full 4 hours of music streaming. The Bluetooth connectivity works very well without any distortion or interference. I was able to walk to all points of my yard, which is pretty large, with my phone on the porch, and had no problems at all.
Overall I’m very happy with the Bose Frames audio sunglasses. They look cool, sound great and are really fun to wear. I recommend these to anyone who enjoys listening to music while being active outdoors, take the music with you wherever you go!

Technology meets the Toaster!
on June 28, 2020

Revolution Cooking has really taken a leap forward with this toaster. It’s undeniably the coolest toaster I’ve ever owned, but most importantly, it works great!
My husband and I usually eat something light for breakfast. A slice of toast, English muffins, bagels or a pop-tart pastry. We’ve been using this toaster for a week now and have been very happy with everything we’ve toasted. All of our food has come out evenly toasted, perfectly matching the toast level shown on the LCD screen.
Learning to use the toaster is quick and easy. Just plug it in, choose the food type, food setting, select the desired level of toasting and press start. Your food will be gently lowered into the toaster. The screen displays a countdown circle of dots, then displays a timer in the last 10 seconds. Once your food is finished the toaster plays a melody and raises your food, perfectly toasted, ready for you to enjoy.
I really like the look of this toaster. The stainless steel matches my kitchen nicely and the LCD screen displays the time and date when the toaster is not in use. From the settings menu you can adjust the date/time, bagel size, volume and brightness. I will note that the instruction booklet recommends unplugging the toaster when not in use, which resets the clock. The time date display is cool, but useless if you follow the instructions. Maybe a future release can include a battery that will allow the clock to keep the time while the toaster is unplugged?
I’m really disappointed that this toaster only comes with a 1 year warranty. I normally wouldn’t even glance at the warranty on a toaster, but this isn’t your traditional toaster, it has been hybridized with technology. And we all know technology can fail. What happens if the LCD screen malfunctions after a year? At this price point Revolution Cooking should really have the confidence in their product to give this toaster a 5 year warranty.
Overall I’m very happy with the look, design and performance of this toaster. I love how the food quietly lowers into the toaster, and that everything comes out perfectly toasted. Even though I really like this toaster, I can’t recommend it to friends or family, at this price point, with only a 1 year warranty.

Powerful and lightweight but not for hard floors.
on June 4, 2020
Posted by: Orion
from Columbia, MO
I’ve been using the LG CordZero A9 S for a week now and have been mostly impressed with the vacuum cleaner. This isn’t my first stick vacuum but it is my first LG vacuum cleaner. I’ve owned other LG electronics and have always been happy with the quality and performance. My washer and dryer are LG and they’ve been running great with absolutely no issues for almost 5 years now! I know LG is a good brand and I was excited to try their vacuum cleaner.
Upon opening and unpacking the box I was immediately impressed with the build quality. All parts and accessories look and feel like they are constructed with high quality, strong yet lightweight materials. Along with the included accessories you also receive an extra battery, an extra pre-filter, a brush for cleaning and an optional mounting kit. Unpacking and setting up the vacuum and stand were a breeze. LG included a thorough owners manual along with a separate LG ThinkQ connection guide and a two page waterproof maintenance guide with a suction cup to hang it nearby. And if that’s not enough there are many helpful tutorial videos produced by LG available online. I love that LG makes every effort to ensure people can easily learn to use their products.
I really like the look and functionality of this vacuum cleaner. It looks high-end, is ergonomically designed, lightweight and easy to use in tight spaces. I love the charging station and floor stand. The charging station allows you to charge both batteries at once while the vacuum is docked and you can easily swap out batteries if it runs low while you are using the vacuum. Also, you can receive a notification from the LG ThinkQ app when the battery is fully charged. The floor stand is weighted so that it doesn’t tip over easily. When docking the unit the signature LG melody plays, which I also love. :)
Overall I’m happy with this vacuum cleaner but I do need to mention that from what I understand by reading the user’s manual, and from my experience, this is not a good vacuum for hard floors. I’ve watched videos where people say a hard floor, soft brush nozzle is available but the owner’s manual doesn’t mention this part anywhere. The two large included nozzles are the “Power Carpet Nozzle” and the “Power Punch Nozzle”. The owner’s manual provides the following instructions regarding the Power Carpet Nozzle; “Use this nozzle to clean carpets or rugs. *If used on hard flooring, this nozzle will be noisy.” Although I don’t find it to be overly noisy on hard floors I do think it misses quite a bit, including larger debris such as cereal or dog food and is not very good on edges or corners. On carpets, the nozzle works beautifully and out of all the vacuums I’ve ever used, this one has the least tangles and build up in the brush. It stays nice and clean even though I have two dogs that shed quite a bit. No other vacuum has done that for me. The Power Punch Nozzle has been a delightful surprise. Instead of a rotating brush it uses a massage-like paddle that vibrates the surface to loosen dirt and debris with a micro brush stripe that pulls hairs from the surface. I used this on my dogs beds, our couch cushions, duvet and a large tufted ottoman, and on all three surfaces it worked great at pulling up the hair, loose feathers, dust and dander. I feel like the turbo setting really pulls the dander from the dog beds very well. The additional accessories are the combination tool and the crevice tool. These are fairly standard and come in handy for cleaning a variety of things including pet hair out of furniture, mats and tight areas, especially when on turbo mode.
I’ve been very happy with the battery life but am glad that it came with an additional battery since you will need to change it if you plan to vacuum on the Normal Mode for much longer than 30-35 minutes. Turbo Mode will last you about 6-7 minutes, so use it wisely, such as crevices, corners or very dusty seat cushions.
The bin design works well and seems to store more dust, hair and debris than you would expect for a bin this size. With the built in Kompressor lever allowing you to smash it down and make more room in the canister for a longer vacuuming time. The bin release button is nicely positioned and works in a way that allows you to empty the bin w/o getting your hand dirty, pushing stuck dirt down with the Kompressor. If you have dog hair, you will probably still have to reach in and pull some clumps out, but not nearly as often as models without this compressing functionality. It’s innovative and works very well.
I’m a fan of the five step HEPA filtration system and the fact that the filters are washable. LG recommends cleaning the filters monthly but I think I will need to clean this more frequently than that. It really depends on how frequently you vacuum, how much you vacuum and how dirty your floors get between vacuuming. I suggest reading and following the cleaning guide and this product should last a very long time, with replacement batteries eventually of course.
I did run into intermittent power and/or cycling noises while vacuuming my wool rug the third day I used the vacuum. It eventually completely stopped working and I had to reference the owner’s guide to figure out what was wrong. I had cleaned all the airways but it was still clogged somewhere. Turns out the short human hair I vacuumed the night before, after my husband cut my hair, had gotten clogged in the air intake. I didn’t realize this until I removed the large dust separator filter, using the crevice tool, and lowered the Kompressor lever. Above the Kompresser was a mess of clogged hair and wool from the rug. After cleaning that area the vacuum has continued to function clog free since then.
I’m pleased with this vacuum and think it has a great overall design. It’s lightweight, powerful and has a cool and functional docking station. The control panel is easy to read and use and the app is interesting but more of a novelty. I am concerned about the air intake becoming clogged easily but only time will tell. I also wish this came with a soft roller for hard floors instead of me needing to use a different vacuum in those areas. I look forward to seeing more innovation and advancement from LG in this area of electronics and am excited to see what they come out with next.

Reliable, Fast and Quiet - Perfect for home office
on April 26, 2020
Posted by: Orion
from Columbia, MO
I’ve been using the HP Neverstop All-in-one laser printer for over three weeks now and am impressed with it’s reliability, speed, print quality and ease of use. During the past month I’ve been working from home, while I would normally be working in the office. Having the HP Neverstop at my side has been extremely handy. I’m still able to perform many of my normal job duties including printing documents for filing and sign-off approvals. I also enjoy being able to print a contract or long document to take outside and read in the sun on my balcony. Making my notes the old fashioned way with a highlighter and pen! It’s relaxing and gets you away from the computer screen for a bit. Best of all, with this printer a 25 page document prints in just over a minute, just enough time for me to grab a cup of coffee.
I really like the overall layout and compact design of this laser printer. It looks really nice in my home office and doesn’t take up too much space. The size is small enough to fit on most small desktops or printer stands yet it’s powerful and holds 150 sheets of paper.
Pros:
-Compact design.
-Scan documents with the HP app using your phone.
-Very easy to set up. Connecting to my phone, laptop, desktop and tablet were all very straightforward and fast.
-Environmentally friendly cartridge free toner that is quick and easy to reload. Not using a cartridge means less garbage for the landfills and I like that.
-Wireless connectivity that is quick to connect.
-Printing is fast and quiet.
-Print 5000 pages right out of the box!
Cons:
-No automatic document feeder for scanning, so you have to place each page on the glass as you scan or copy your documents.
-No automatic dual sided printing.
-No color printing
Overall I’m very happy with the HP Neverstop all-in-one laser printer. It’s times like these, when I’m stuck working from home, that having a printer like this has been an invaluable addition to my home office. I’m very happy that I own this printer and will recommend it to friends and family.

The Victorinox Large Connex Hardside Luggage suitcase is made by the same company that has made Swiss Army Knives since 1897. So, you can bet that it covers all the bases - functionality, versatility, quality, and ergonomics. This upright spinner bag's exterior offers a modern, streamlined look and is made with strong Makrolon polycarbonate. The spacious internal compartment allows optimized packing and is expandable to increase the capacity. There are x-shaped compression straps and zippered divider walls and pockets to help organize. When you close the bag and send it off, it can stay secure: a recessed Travel Sentry Approved combination lock allows TSA officers to access your bag. Its dimensions are 12.2 x 20.5 x 29.1 inches. And, when empty, it weighs 10.1 pounds.

Quality suitcase; smooth and lightweight!
on March 1, 2020
Posted by: Orion
from Columbia, MO
The Victorinox Connex is a really nice suitcase! I love the hard shell design, sleek appearance and ultra smooth maneuverability. I’ve needed a new suitcase for the past few years and finally decided to get a new one when I saw this Victorinox. I’ve never owned any Victorinox luggage before but am very familiar with the brand and know that Victorinox means quality. I fly domestically 4-5 times a year and also go on road-trips to visit family in neighboring states, so I wanted a suitcase that is rugged enough to be slammed around in the back of my car, while still looking great when I roll it through the airport.
I used this on a recent extended weekend trip, flying domestically and staying in a hotel for a couple days. The first thing I noticed was how light it is, although it’s larger than my previous case, and appears to have a more durable shell, it is much lighter. Secondly I was very impressed by the spinning wheels with tires designed by Mitsubishi. They are smooth and silent on every surface they grace, combine that with the flawless 360 degree maneuverability and rolling this suitcase around is a pleasure! If you’ve never had a “spinner” suitcase before, I highly recommend you make sure it’s a feature on the next case you buy.
This suitcase is very spacious with a well designed interior. I appreciate the split design with a 2 pocket panel that zips into the top of the front shell, acting as a divider between the 2 shells when the case is closed. The divider panel includes a padded zipper pocket, perfect for small laptops and tablets, and a large mesh pocket. There is a third mesh pocket, with a nifty “pocket knife” pocket, running along the interior spine of the back shell.
I’m glad to have a suitcase with a Travel Sentry approved lock since I do fly a lot. It’s nice to be able to lock your bag, knowing only the people who are approved to access it, will do so if they need to.
The telescopic pull handle on this suitcase is solid, sturdy and lightweight. I’ve had other suitcases with a wobbly telescopic handle, and it gets annoying fast. The haul handles are well positioned, strong and have a smooth soft grip for easy hauling.
I’m so happy I had this suitcase for my recent trip and know it will last me many years to come. I highly recommend this suitcase, or any of the Victorinox suitcases to anyone needing new luggage.

Great shave without the irritation!

I went back to Norelco a couple years ago after trying a high-end foil razor for a few years and deciding that I really didn’t like it that much. I shave my neck and face around my beard and had a problem with the foil shaver pulling at my beard whiskers. With a Norelco rotary shaver I don’t have that problem nearly as much. I’m now upgrading my shaver from the Norelco 3000 series to this new 7000 series s7940 model.
The shaver comes with a compact travel case, charging cable, cleaning station and a precision trimmer for your beard and sideburns. I’ve been using the new 7000 series shaver for just over a week now and am very happy that I upgraded. I get a much closer shave without having to press as hard which means less irritation for my skin. The flexible heads make it easy to navigate around my beard without pulling on it, I’m able to get a nice close shave and clean up my burns and beard with the trimmer. After shaving I remove the head, tap out the whiskers and place it on the cleaning station, which is doing a really good job at keeping it clean.
The shaver connects to an app, mentioned in the booklet but not named. There is also a scannable link to the app that doesn’t work. I suggest Norelco add a supplemental flyer or notice to future units being sold as this is very confusing at first and can lead to somebody downloading the wrong and potentially harmful app. Once I did get the correct app I had problems getting connected to the shaver. After getting connected I found the app to be more of a novelty, sort of fun but not anything I’m going to use since I’m happy with the razors default setting.
Overall I’m very happy with this shaver and am glad that I upgraded and choose another Norelco. This is the third Norelco I’ve owned over many years and I’ve never had anything bad to say about the shavers. Norelco shavers do a great job, last for years and offer a variety of shavers at a range of price points. I’ve always recommended Norelco razors to friends and will now recommend the 7000 series to anyone shopping for a razor at this price point.

Looks Great! Does all the basic functions.

I’ve been wanting to get a smartwatch for a while now but have been reluctant to purchase one because I wasn’t sure how much use I would get out of it. I’m a long time Google user and was hoping they would release a watch this year, which didn’t happen. I figured this Michael Kors watch would with the Wear OS by Google would be the next best thing.
The watch comes securely packaged in a well constructed white watch box with a clear plastic window. I like that the box can be used to store the watch when not being used and isn’t just another piece of cardboard to be recycled. The watch also comes with a magnetic USB charging cable, quick start guide and owner’s manual. The owner’s manual does not contain any actual instructions though so if you have questions you will need to Google it. The watch does not come with a charger however any USB charging port will work.
Set up was a breeze and connecting to my Google accounts was simple. The watch face and tiles are all customizable with a decent selection of apps and functions available. I’m still tinkering and learning new things as I go. The watch functionality is intuitive however I have had to Google a few things and having an instruction booklet included would have been appreciated.
I really like the design and feel of this watch. It looks great and I’m happy to put it on in the morning. I’m not normally a watch person, I have a few but rarely wear them because they are usually uncomfortable. The watch band on the Michael Kors watch is made of rubber and is very comfortable to wear, after wearing it daily for two weeks now, I’ve gotten completely used to it and actually look forward to putting it on in the morning.
I’ve gotten so much more use out of this watch than I had expected. With my Google accounts connected I get all my notifications quickly and within sight on my wrist. I love being able to have quick access to my email, calendar and text messages. I can easily see who is texting with just a glance rather than having to pull my phone out. I also like the fitness tracking features and they are actually encouraging me to monitor things like my heart rate and how active I am every day. It’s a helpful step in the right direction for me and I look forward to using it more to help reach my fitness goals.
The charging cable is magnetic and very easy to use. It connects by itself when you place the backside of the watch on the charger. I’ve been using my watch daily and find myself with about 5% - 15% battery left each night before going to bed.
There is some lag to this watch when navigating some of the menus and settings. Some setting options can take a few seconds to open, leaving you with a blank screen while you wait. It’s a little annoying and hopefully doesn’t get worse over time. I’ve also had some issues recently with the Google assistant alerting me that there was a problem and to check my wi-fi settings. This has only started in the past few days, only while I’m at home and only after bringing a Google Home Mini and a Google enabled alarm clock into my house. It might have something to do with that, but I’m still investigating.
I’m pretty happy with this watch and am glad to have finally gotten a smartwatch. I love the look and feel of the watch and am satisfied with the functionality. I like having the Google assistant on here but I wish the Wear OS app offered more features. The watch-face is the perfect size for me and I really like being able to customize the appearance.

Amazing Phone
By bzm3j81 from Detroit, MI
First and foremost, this phone is amazing. Performance and quality exceed my expectations from Google.
Pro’s:
- Build Quality
- Phone Performance
- Google Assist
- Unlimited photo storage
- Battery life
- Camera!
Con’s:
- Cost
- Lack of some “flagship” features (i.e. IP67 rating, wireless charging, removable storage)
Build quality: This phone is solid in your hand from the moment you pick it up. The aluminum body feels solid and the phone has enough weight behind it to sit comfortably in your hand. I was concerned about the glass portion of the back panel, as I cringed every time I put the phone down on a solid surface, but it has endured very well so far and beyond adding a little flair it helps to quickly identify the top from bottom of the phone as I bring it out of my pocket. The front screen is probably the best screen I have ever used on a smart phone, colors are vibrant, the blacks are deep, and I would put it up against any screen that Apple or Samsung produce. It would really be nice if this was IP 67 rated for water resistance and dust resistance.
Performance: The new Qualcomm 821 processor doesn’t seem leaps and bounds above the older 820 model, but there are times where it is noticeable. Transitions are smooth, scrolling is faster and more responsive, and the phone overall just seems more fluid. The finger print reader is very quick. The camera does load faster than my old phone, but isn’t instant.
Software: The new launcher is very smooth. Took a little bit of time to get used to the “pull up” for the app drawer, but it seems much more natural than the old app drawer button. The Google assistant is nice, but seems to be a slightly more powerful Google now… I expect this will get better over time, but right now seems to be a little basic. Verizon did a great job with the phone’s “bloatware”. I haven’t “noticed” the applications and it seems that they can be uninstalled if I want to. (good job guys). Everything seems to work really well, and the 3D touch is really nice for the applications it works with right now (mostly google apps) but as with most of the software, it will just get better with time.
Camera: This is hands down the best camera I have ever used on a phone. I was worried about the lack of OIS (optical image stabilization) but after seeing how well the EIS performs, it really isn’t a concern anymore. Photos look amazing, the stabilization is awesome, and the HDR+ mode is so fast, I do not even know it’s on. Combined with the unlimited Google photos storage, I really don’t mind the 32GB storage size. Low light photos are amazing and the autofocus is fast. Colors look amazing. I really can’t say enough about this thing. I do wish it had OIS to cover those situations where EIS struggles (lose some details in low light with HDR+ and shaky hands) but I do not think it’s needed overall.
Battery: bottom line, rock solid. I run my phones hard, and normally have to charge them in the car to and from work. (sometimes even at work). But no issues with this Pixel XL. The Qualcomm 821 processor combined with the OLED screen seem to have really helped battery life out. I am looking at 18 hours of life today alone and that’s with about 7 hours of screen time on.)
If you are in the market for a phone, and you have the money, this phone will not disappoint.

3D Touch?
October 23, 2016
I've read that it does not have a pressure sensitive screen, so no 3D touch. Not sure what your referring to, haptic touch?

Grill and brown food to tasty perfection all-year-round with virtually no smoke thanks to the Philips Smoke-less Indoor BBQ Grill. Advanced infrared technology and special reflectors guide heat to the grid for delicious, evenly grilled food. The drip tray underneath remains cool so there is up to 80% less smoke and minimal splattering when cooking.

did it char like an outdoor grill? Thinking about getting this since we can no longer have outdoor grills in our complex.

No, it does not. The chicken I cooked took about 22 minutes and had no burned/chared areas at all. It's still a great grill, you just have to get used to the non open flame taste for some things.

When is this going to be available to order? Keeps on saying sold out online

I was able to snag one Open-Box online, and it was delivered the next day. I tried like 20 times and finally was able to get one. I just kept checking the site like every hour and adding it to my cart and trying to check out, lol. Persistence pays. :) The unit I received still had all the plastic wrap and my guess is that whoever owned it before me only had it to review it. Keep tyring!!
