I believe that if you buy and add a minimum $100 card, you will have 1000 minutes and achieve Gold status.Gold status means the minutes don't expire for a year. You will have up to a year to use the minutes without losing. If you don't use all 1000 minutes you can add $10,just before the 1 year anniversary date and extend the minutes another year.
VERY EASY PUNCH IN PHONE NUMBER TO TEXT TO, THAN ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF LOWER PART OF SCREEN SHOULD SHOW OPTIONS. PUSH OPTIONS AND A LIST WILL COME UP WITH SEND TXT MESSAGE. HIGHLIGHT IT AND PUSH IT THAN IT WILL GO TO THE PAGE WHERE TO TYPE THE MESSAGE IN. WILL SHOW THE ABC LOWER LEFT, SO U CAN CHANGE THE TEXT CAPITALS, LOWER LETTERS ETC. THE SEND BUTTON IS IN THE CENTER THAT U WILL PUSH TO SEND UR MESSAGE WHEN DONE.
You can text using ABC using the number keypad. The letters represented by each number are displayed, just press each number 1-3 times to get the letter you want to type.
They can add the minutes for you at the store, for most carriers. I use T-Mobile, which they didn't handle at the time, so they referred me to the local T-Mobile store.
The particular carrier will have instructions for adding more minutes. There's typically a phone number you can call to do this and pay using a credit card.
I have owned and used a T-Mobile prepaid phone for many years. The battery has gone bad and I would rather replace the phone instead of purchasing a new battery.. How can I purchase a new T-Mobile phone like the Samsung t-199 or something similar and be able to keep my phone number and transfer the info from my phone to the new phone?
The best way to do this is just to transfer your SIM card from your current phone to this one. Just make sure that the SIM card from your previous phone is the same size. If not, you may need to purchase an adapter to make it fit in this regular sized SIM card slot for this phone.
Hi, I just had the same thing happen to our ancient cell phone. We just went to Best Buy and asked them for another phone that would fit the same SIM card. It cost us 19.99 and everything rolled over to the new phone. Cheap and easy! Hope this helped. But you will have to re enter your contact list. Only your phone number and unused minutes will roll over to the new phone.
If you purchase a new T-Mobile or even an unlocked phone, all you'd have to do is take your SIM card out of your old phone, and place it in the new one. You can also PORT your number to a different service, but to get the details on that, you'd have to go to the service's store that you want, ie bestbuy mobile, or an ATT dedicated.
You can get another T-Mobile SGH T294 (I believe) for around $20 as a Prepaid phone at Best Buy and many drug stores. Just install your current SIM and you're set to go. I have done this a couple of times and can assure you it works. It is a small flip phone.
There are 2 different $35.00 a month plans. But there are no $25.00 a month plans. Maybe Virgin Mobile pay lo cell phone plan I do not know anything about pay lo it's a talk and text cell phone plan with no data.
Yes, just put your sim card in the new phone and you are good to go. Before you do that you may want to check that all your contacts from your flip phone are recorded on the sim card, you should see that option on your contacts menu
Yes, the phone will work in Europe to call other european numbers. Please note, however, that the phone is locked to be used only with a T-Mobile USA GSM card.
I have not used this phone in Europe yet. I have used my T-Mobile pre-paid plan SIM in Europe and Asia though w/o any problems. This is my secondary emergency phone or if I don't want to carry my other phone where you have to leave it with someone as you go to a few places and then find out someone stole it.
Need to buy an unlocked GSM, quad band phone. Unlocked means it will accept any sim. Quad band means that it has the four basic GSM bands for talking. 850, 900, 1800, 1900. This covers the basics.
