U will definitely need like a truck or a car with a bigger than usual trunk I had to force mine in to my buick Lucerne and it was a hard time getting it in and a even harder time getting it out so I say a truck is the way to go
I'm very sorry for the confusion. This specific TV, the PN51F4500, is indeed a 720p TV. The HDMI description just refers to the fact that current generation HDMI cables can support up to 1080p resolutions, but it doesn't mean the PN51F4500 will support 1080p.
No, this is not a "smart TV" so you'll need an Apple TV or some other smart device to feed those online services to the TV. For $399, it's best described as a monitor with built-in TV tuner.
No. This is not a "smart tv" so you will need to purchase another device to stream Netflix. I picked up an Amazon Fire TV Stick for $20 and love it! If you are an Amazon Prime member you also have access to tons of free movies and tv shows through Amazon for free.
No. This is not a smart tv, so you will need some for of external device to stream netflix or internet content, but those types of devices are pretty affordable. Some can be purchased for less than $100.
No you would need a blue ray player with apps or Wii or wiiu or PS 3 but you can buy a cheap blue ray player with netflicks app on it for under 100 bucks.
I got my mounting bracket from Walmart . Not sure of name 8 piece set cost me $69. Have had brackets, power strip, clamps for cords, cleaner fuild for tv, 2-hd cables
When I purchased mine I transported it lying down. I didn't want to take a chance it would fall down and break something. Everything was fine when I hooked it up.
No, plasma TV 's must be transported in an upright position. There is a lot of air space around the TV in the box so it's deceiving how big it is. I had to remove the one for my daughter out of its box to fit it in her car upright. We made sure it was stable and wouldn't fall over. Also watch for the placement of the screen so it doesn't get damaged. This will fit in the backseat of a full sized pickup, in the box. Just fold the seats up and the TV stands upright.
SD looks ok but the HD is sooooo much better. I took awhile to switch my cable box with this TV from SD to HD because i had shows i wanted to watch on my cable box dvr. I knew the picture would be better but I had no idea how much better. Switch the HD as soon as possible, i speak from experience.
We also had this issue with the tv as we have an external speaker to hook up..we ended up using the output on the cable box and that worked fine. Hope this helps!
