There are a number of factors that will affect how much an oven heats up a kitchen. The LG 6.1 cu. ft. Capacity Gas Double Oven Range with EasyClean™ and IntuiTouch™ Controls, Model # LDG3036ST, like any other oven will generate heat, but how much it heats the kitchen up will depend on the size of the kitchen. A smaller kitchen will heat up more quickly than a larger kitchen and even if the same amount of heat is released into a larger kitchen as is released into a smaller one, you less likely to feel the change in a larger kitchen. Ventilation in the kitchen will also have an effect. Some installations will put the oven near a window which helps in dissipating the heat, but again, this may not be significantly helpful in a smaller kitchen because there isn't enough room for dissipation and you might just be circulating the heat within a smaller space. If you are baking or using the ovens, even though the double glass door with an air gap between the glass will insulate the heat, when you open the door before the oven cools down, it will release enormous amounts of heat. Regrettably, there is no way of knowing how a particular oven will affect its' immediate environment due to the above mentioned factors. A smaller capacity oven may not generate as much heat, but the larger ones will because more air is heated within the oven's larger capacity interior resulting in more heated air being released into the room...^IFV
