Definitely yes. That is how my wife copies her recipes from cookbooks borrowed from the library. The copy function can be seen brightly on the control panel screen. However, the OK to copy is a little hard to see.
I have 2 computers one is a desktop using windows7 home premium and a laptop using windows8, I am in the process of buying a HP Envy 4500 printer but wish to make sure it would work on both computers, upstairs I use a Belkin Modem/router and the desktop is hard wired to the internet Ethernet and my home printer D1560 is connected to USB and I have a laptop wireless to the internet and would wish to also print from my laptop via printer does this make any sense to you my laptop is down stairs and printer will be upstair beside the modem/router and beside the desktop computer please advise if this would work!
Yes it will work as long as it is connected to the same internet. My computer is wired via ethernet cable to the router and they're in the same room. Meanwhile I can still print from my laptop upstairs since they're on the same Wi-Fi network.
My printer is downstairs by my laptop. It is connected using Wi-Fi. I printed a document from my Ipad when I was upstairs. It worked great. This printer worked easily for me.
My router is located in one bedroom. My HP 4500 is located in my office. I have Windows 8 on my PC. The printer and PC are connected separately via wifi to my home network. I can print from my PC (Windows 8), iPad and iPhone (iOS 8.1.2) to the printer over the network.
Yes it will work, because it support both software and it is a wireless printer just connect it to your wifi and install the printer software on your desktop and printer
You can definitely run both devices with the printer however, once you setup and add the wireless from another device, you may need to restart the printer, but it will work fine.
Yes, this will work with both computers. You could install a print server to make things easier, since you may by unable to connect one computer to the printer directly.
These numbers are measured : 17.5" W x13" D x 5" H the tray drawer sticks out approx. 1.75" from the total depth when completely pushed in. When pulled out to load paper in sticks out approx. 7" from the total depth. Hope this helps.
No special ink needed for photos. You do need to use photo paper though. Printed out pictures yesterday just fine with the ink that came with the printer.
No. You do not need special ink. Just use the HP 61 cartridge. Very affordable and works great. I also use Kodak photo paper (instant dry)for my photos.
Regular ink cartridge is about $15 to $16 and XL cartridge about $31-$33 (which HP says gets almost 3 times as much printed as regular cartridge - but I have used both and I think the regular is the best buy). These prices are all about the same at Staples, Office Depot and Wal-Mart.
$31.99 HP 61XL High yield black ink. $33.99 HP 61XL High yield tri-color , $15.99 HP 61 black, $21.99 HP 61 tri-color, or you can purchase monthly installment plan for $2.99, $4.99 or $9.99 (Plan depends on your usage).
i would assume it needs a USB A-B cable. it does say 2.0, High Speed. i can't find anything in the Owner's Manual, or on the HP website to say for sure--no picture of the back of the unit; nothing. (not surprising--it's HP. i've had an HP printer and the support was simply dreadful for it.)
It is a regular USB printer cable. one end is square like in nature and then a regular USB on the other end. If you have a cable from another printer it should work. This printer does not require a cable you can print wirelessly over wifi through a network or direcly even without a wifi network.
it is a standard printer usb cord. This is wireless though . No need for anything to hook to a laptop or PC that has wireless. I have a wireless HP all in one computer. It connected wonderfully. I do have an App on my Samsung Galaxy S5 called Hammermill, which you can download for free at Playstore. It lets you add this printer and print right from phone or tablet. You can also connect printer to computer via cable if you don't want to connect wirelessly. HOPE THIS HELPED.
