Flaw's Through The Eyes is the soundtrack to my high school years. I think the reason why this was their most successful album is because it's their most honest, that also means they're not your typical nu-metal band. Recommended for fans of Mudvayne, Korn, and Slipknot.

Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne both hold a special place in my heart, so when I found out that their first eight albums were being reissued and sold at must-own prices, I took advantage. The remasters are stellar. While Sabotage is not quite up to par with the first four, it has it's classic moments. I recommend it.

After the misfire with their debut Portraits, Bury Tomorrow got things right with The Union Of Crowns. Runes goes even further: darker, heavier, and catchier music. I'm torn between this album and Earthbound, their latest. I recommend both.

When Buy Tomorrow's debut Portraits fell under the radar, they decided to go for broke with this sophomore effort. While it is a top notch album, they do get better on later release Runes and Earthbound. For fans of Killswitch Engage, The Amity Affliction, and As I Lay Dying.

Having your first two albums produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz (Unearth, The Acacia Strain, A Day To Remember) must have been a learning experience for Parkway Drive. Taking what they learned from working with Adam, they really up went for broke on Deep Blue. Check it out.

Oh, and you make sure that a live drummer plays on it since some people were upset after your last one had programmed drums. I'm talking about Fear Factory's latest release Genexus which is one their most dynamic releases. If you're a fan of sci-fi, this is a concept album based on the 1982 masterpiece Blade Runner which was adapted from Philip K. Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. Get it now!

Anyone expecting a death metal Opeth album in the vein of Blackwater Park or Deliverance may be disappointed. This is more like Damnation when they put their 60's & 70's influences on display. If you do appreciate that album, then do get this.
