Symphony X's Iconoclast continues in the heavy direction beginning with Paradise Lost. The neo-classical theatrics are kinda held back, but that doesn't hurt the album whatsoever. If you're feeling more adventurous, a double CD version of Iconoclast is also available.

I had read that Jamey Jasta went through a bit of depression when he wrote the lyrics to Hatebreed's Supremacy. It helped to fuel the music here for sure, making it one of the heaviest Hatebreed has put out.

Interesting fact: Cannibal Corpse were originally going to work with Colin Richardson on Gore Obsessed due to their satisfaction working with him on Bloodthirst, but those plans fell though. They ended having Neil Kernon (who recorded Nevermore when Pat O'Brien was their guitarist) produce. Like other Cannibal Corpse albums, you can't go wrong with this.

The "we only use about 10 percent of our brain" theory is intriguing, but purely fictional just like the movie. Lucy is a student in Taipei, Taiwan until she's forced into being a drug mule. When the mysterious drug leaks into her body, she gains superhuman abilities including telepathy, telekinesis, and the inability to feel pain. Some will have trouble understanding a lot of the story, but some science fiction is like that. Get it for the action, visuals, and Scarlett Johansson. Note for those looking at the 4k Blu-Ray: the disc will only play on a player that clearly has the "UHD Blu-Ray" logo on the front of the player, and you'll need a 4k TV with a high speed HDMI cable, and other essential equipment. Otherwise, it does include the regular Blu-Ray disc. So only buy if you collect the 4k discs.
