I'm looking at the Samsung 50" UHD8 series TV. I own a SONY Sound Bar that uses both an HDMI connector and a little plugin that fits into an oddly shaped, small input. Does this TV have such an input? And if not, will I be able to use the Sound Bar?

Hi Dennis! The odd-shaped plug-in you are referring to would be an Optical input. The TU8000 has both HDMI and Optical inputs. You do not need to connect both Optical and HDMI cables simultaneously to receive sound. You can choose which cable you'd rather utilize; we do recommend connecting your soundbar via HDMI cable as this will give you a better connection. ^Gina

Can the legs be reversed left to right to decrease the distance between legs and can you mirror image from an android phone

Oldgoat, you can screen mirror from an Android device to your TV by using the Smart View feature on your phone. The legs on Samsung TVs cannot be reversed. Is the sound bar and module wireless as well as subwoofer and rear speakers?

Jim, The HW-Q850T Soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speaker module all need to be connected to power outlets. The rear speakers are wired, connecting left to right into the speaker module. ^Gina

I have a Samsung 55" Class (54.6" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV. Would this sound bar be compatible with it and is a bracket included with this model to install it to the wall underneath the TV?

gbaquero92, the HW-Q70T Soundbar is compatible with all Samsung TVs. The HW-Q70T does indeed include a wall mounting bracket in the box. ^Gina

Hello Pete – The Samsung Family Hub connects to the Samsung Q70T, Q80T and up TVs. Last year, the 8000 did work, but this year you need a capability called TV to Mobile which starts at the Q70T. The processor for the Q70T through the Q90T is called a Quantum Processor 4K and allows for more fluent functionality. This powerful processor uses AI technology to transform everything you watch into stunning 4K. While the TU8000 does offer some Smart Features, it is not capable of all that the Q70T and up can do.
