I have a HW Q70R the sound will momentarly drop out. I can overcome this problem by rebooting the device by unplugging the power. Is this equipment failure

I have a four year old Samsung TV (UN65KU650DF). I'd like to use this sound bar, and have the TV remote turn the sound bar on and off with the TV, and control the volume. Can I do this via WiFi, or connect with a cable? Also, how do I mount to the TV?

Hi Rodney, If your Soundbar is connected to the TV via the ARC HDMI port (it is labeled in the back) you should be able to control both with one remote. The soundbar can be attached to the wall, though not directly to the TV. ^Scott

My brand new Q850T says that the sound bar is an alex as well. But when using Smartthing to try and set up the alex, it say sorry not at this time after I click Allow to link to my account.. What they heck? What do I need to do.

Hi there, Some functionality can be more challenging when the soundbar is going through a firmware update, particularly when first being set up. Try entering the Alexa account by following the instructions on the SmartThings app and then you should be able to log into the service. ^Scott

Do you have to use the rear speakers provided or Will they system work with existing surround speakers? Can you connect existing satellite speakers to the wireless module instead of using speakers provided? Advantage is I have existing one hung already :)

Can I increase the center channel volume on a sound bar so the voices are louder than the background sounds?

Hi there, Great question, the Adaptive Sound feature optimizes any source for the clearest dialogue. If you wanted to take it a step further; the clarity of a voice is found in the mid-frequencies – say from 2 kHz to 6 kHz. If you press and hold the (Sound Control) button for about 5 seconds you can adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. This should help to amplify the dialogue and make it cut through better. Another way of approaching this is to cut around the 300 – 800 Hz range. ^Scott

Do the rear speakers have a maximum range from the soundbar or sub? I want to have them about 30 feet from the screen, which is where the soundbar will be located.
