Is this compatible with the S2 OS?
Hi, and thank you for your question. Connects made 2015 and after are compatible with our S2 platform, so more than likely, this will be compatible. However, it's hard to say without a serial number which is not provided to us for the particular Connect from Best Buy. The best answer we can give from this information is "probably" based on the fact that Best Buy is probably not selling a 6+ year old refurbished Connect.

If I were to put these at either end of a 125' foot long room, with 18' ceilings, facing each other, will they try and pair for a L& R surround sound? I do not want them to do this! This will be in a bar setting, I dont want patrons to get blasted either
Hi, and thank you for your question. You have a couple of different options! The Sonos Fives will not automatically try to pair as surrounds. You would have to do that in the settings under the room name of our soundbar press "add surrounds" and our app will walk you through the rest.
If you just set them up as their own rooms, they will be just that; two separate rooms. Which sounds like the experience you're looking for!
The last option would be to set them up in a stereo pair. So one of your Sonos Fives is a left speaker and the other is a right speaker in a stereo set up. However, with the speakers that far a part from each other, we would not recommend that.

Hello, and thank you for your question. It's difficult to say if it will sound good or not because the environment of every room is different. Generally speaking the Playbar would suffice.

Can sonos arc be connected to sonos ceiling speakers for surround?
Hi, and thanks for your question. Yes! If those in-ceiling speakers are powered by the Sonos Amp, you can use those as surround sounds with the Sonos Arc.

HI.... does anyone have the sonos arc mounted high (above tv)? My tv to the top is at 6 feet off the ground. I have no choice but to hang bar above tv. with this severely decrease sound quality? THANKS.... JOE
Hi, and thanks for your question. It is possible that this could severely decrease your sound quality, as the front speakers are pointed straight forward, and the atmos speakers are pointed up. However, every room environment is different so it's difficult to say how much it will impact your experience.

Does the beam has to be the main speaker for the sound source? I have a projector at the back of the room but would like to place the bar at the front of the room. can i connect sonos one to the projector and have the beam sync to sonos one?
Hi, and thank you for your question. Yes, Beam has to be the primary source for TV/projector audio as it controls the crossover for your home theater system. Also worth noting the Sonos One does not have any physical inputs to plug a tv or projector into. So the projector will have to be run to the Sonos Beam, and then the Sonos One can be grouped to play the same thing, or two of them can be used as wireless surround sounds. (One and One SL can be used together as rears)

I have a total of 10 - 8" Klipsan speakers 4-in the main living 1- in the bedroom 1- in the bathroom and 4- in the attached shop. I'm wanting to hook them up to a Sonos system. Is their a unit that can power all the speakers or do i need multiple units.
Hi, and thanks for your question! Depending on the impedance of the speakers you can run 2 pairs of speakers on one Amp. Keeping in mind that any speakers that are plugged into the same Amp would always play the same thing at the same time. Another option would be to buy a multi-channel amplifier from another company and use the Sonos Port by plugging it into the amplifier. This would be a good option if you want all of these players playing the same thing, at the same time. If you'd like to have more control over which rooms are playing, when, and at what volume they're playing then multiple Sonos Amps would be the best solution for you.
